929 days sober. Lost 80 lbs just by quiting alcohol. With all the calories and binge eating while drunk. Still have about 100 more to lose. But I'm working towards it still. No reason to ever start drinking again. It's useless. Calories. Bad health. Bad habits. Just bad.

i can go up to 20 -25 days on a plateau, and yes they suck, but keep with it, then blam! ill lose 6 lbs.

How do you think DR. OZ makes so much money, he buys a product to sell, then blasts its miracle behavior on TV then saps buy into his product and he makes millions by slapping his face on some generic crap.

I upped my calories and feel much better. I can def. Tell if Im too low for the day. Added some mid day snacks and I feel much better. Thanks

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm definitely trying to do my calorie count it sounds so stupid but it's difficult. When I drank I binge ate everything and bad food. When sober I eat very well. Drink no calories. Eat great food. And am full.

It doesnt happen all the time, just some times. Ill try and keep notes on days i do more activity at work, maybe those are the days i feel ill at dinner time.

Thanks for the input, i had done the 2000 before and didnt have the problem, but drank a bunch of calories too, which i never logged, so im guessing even though most where empty calories they still where fuel. I appreciate the feedback and the help. I will up my calories.

I just changed my Goals, to lightly active, which puts me at 2250 for daily calories, most days im around 1800, Ill make sure to hit 2000.

Yes i told him i had an alcohol problem, i just quit, told him about the diet, and the fatigue, which usually is around dinner. He said to pack in some calories between lunch and dinner, since they are 7 hours apart, which should help. all my blood tests came back great.

i NEVER trust my fitbit calories. Im set at 1850 on MFP for 2 lbs a week loss. I get 5k steps on fitbit, just from walking, normal walking. Well fitbit said i earned 800 calories today!!!! So MFP said i could eat 2650 once it was sync'd. That would put me at 400 calories deficit for the day.... I think if you are closer to…

I ate a Grand Mac and medium fries today for 1200 calories for dinner, for breakfast all i had was a yogurt. Not an ideal day but i work graveyard and had a bunch of errands and sleep to get today and woke up late and missed dinner at home. so it put me at 1400 calories and i called it a day. It fit in my goals so i ate it.

Most people that get in the mood to diet, they do it extreme, they cut all their favorites, eat only rabbit food and go low calories. Then you hate it and give up. I eat more the day after drinking. I can usually manage 400-500 lunch and breakfasts, leaving me 1000 calories for dinner and snacks at home. But if i am hungover ill eat 1300 by end of work day and only have 700 left at night.

Another thing that helps is switching out your regular foods for light or fat free. Mayo is upwards of 100 calories, light mayo can be as low as 35 calories. Butter is upwards of 100 calories, light country crock spread is 35 calories. Sub olive oil for light butter in veggies. Buy 45 calorie bread instead of 110 calorie…

We do stir fry a lot, change it up with noodles or rice and dif veggies in season. The kids love it and you can eat a lot. Also do a one pot gumbo that you can eat a lot of. I went to the gas station and got a bunch of different diet soda's, pepsi max, coke zero, diet stuff, diet rootbeer. I found i liked Coke Zero the best, so i stuck with that. I also drink a lot of iced-t or black coffee. We also get the sparkling waters, they have a bunch of great flavors.

Snack on some carrots, celery, bell peppers. all under 30 calories for a decent portion size, may help with hunger at bed. Maybe even a cup of popcorn.

Set up your goals on MFP, and eat under those goals. Easy Peasy. It works, just give it time. Day to day, if you have a bad day move on and do better the next day.

Depending on how much you have to lose, set MFP to 2 pounds a week and you'll lose 8 pounds in 30 days eating right and learning how to eat properly without gimmicks. I lost 19 pounds my first 30 days on MFP because i had a lot to lose. But i did it right and safely eating food i liked but controlled my portions..
