I don't own a Fitbit product but I do have the UA Band, the Garmin Vivofit, and the Withings Pulse Ox. Each of them have at least 1 feature the others do not either in the band itself or the software/app. If I had to pick just one of them to use permanently, I would choose the UA Band.

Short answer: 3-12 months Long answer: It depends on many different factors based on the individual, training, diet, etc. etc. I do a 6 month bulk cycle/6 month cut cycle. I can put on anywhere from 30-50lbs during the bulk then I take off all but 3-5lbs of that during the cut. Yeah it's a lot of work for such a small net…

Yeah a firearm wouldn't have helped me at all when I was alone and fell through an icy lake (that was pretty terrifying) but I could have used one when I was walking near a college campus where I was hit with a car, then assaulted by it's occupants who attempted to rob me (unsuccessfully). Sure I survived the attack…

I refused to purchase/carry a firearm for the longest time much like I refused to upgrade from cassette to CD (to MP3), tube TV to flat screen, conventional oven to microwave, etc..etc. I thought firearms are for cowards and the lazy..anyone can pull a trigger with little or no effort but it takes skill, bravery, and…

I have quite a few days of vacation I have to use before the year end and I used one today. My microwave went down in a blaze of glory this morning so I plan to go out and purchase a new one later. Right now I'm watching Dr. Oz and eating some Macadamia Nut cookies fresh out the oven.

I can both gain and lose pretty equally and easily even at the tender age of 45, although gaining is much more satisfying. I'm currently at 148lbs and 10% bodyfat, according to the BMI chart at 151lbs I'm considered overweight which is erroneous because I have more lean muscle and I'm still about 11-12% bodyfat so I pay no…
