There is no magic "weight loss/fat burner/diet pill", weight loss is as simple as calories in vs. calories and is acheived through diet and exercise. CLA has more or less been proven ineffective and some have reported some success with L-carnitine. I would take a long hard look at your diet/exercise regime before…

Which one don't I use? That would be a shorter list, I have so many different brands, kinds, and flavors it isn't funny. Two of my favorites is Syntha6 - Cinnamon Bun and Trutein - Red Velvet Cake

Well I'm back after a week off of training, I've decided I don't want to put on 50+lbs just to start taking it off again in March (I've already swelled up 10lbs in a week) so I registered for another local 5k in November to help keep myself in check. I may or may not achieve 24hrs this month but I'm off to a start: 09/03…

Every time I see someone deadlifting with an underhand grip I have to cringe because I know that bicep can tear any second, please don't deadlift with the underhand grip..I know you've probably done it that way thousands of times for years but I'm telling ya that 1 time is just waiting to happen and it's going to be bad.

I agree with the other posters. I would drop all the BCAA's unless your training fasted, CLA has been shown to be ineffective so I'd drop that too. I only take 2g of creatine in HCL form before and after training.

I like to use a diuretic like MHP's Xpel along with 1-2 gallons of water

I would consider taking it down to 12hrs for a little while, it could make an eating mindset difference and stop you from binging.

Me thinks perhaps IF isn't for you. How long are you fasting? 12hrs or 16hrs?

Middle-aged female amateur bodybuilder was found lying near the cable station one Sunday morning a few years ago. She apparently died of a heart attack while working out by herself during the night. She always trained after hours by herself. My gym partner and I tried to make paranormal contact with her near the spot she…

I concur with the above poster, your experiencing some initial gains and water, it takes much longer (depending on genetics/training) to put on quality muscle mass. I've been training pretty consistently for almost 20 years and I've only added 20lbs of lean muscle, that's only an average of a pound a year.

To eat, drink, and be merry! This is the last day of a 10 day vacation for me, I ended my diet season Saturday with a 5k race so I'm enjoying a guilt free binge for a couple of days!
-
I registered yesterday for another 5k in November, I normally just run 1 annual 5k to finish out my diet/cutting season which I just ran last Saturday. I really don't want to put back on 50lbs during the "off-season" just to take it back off again 6 months from now..getting to old for that, so I figure if I can commit to…

I drink a gallon every day, sometimes as much as 1 1/2 to 2 gallons like exercising in hot weather or during sodium/carb cycling. The best way to do it is to pace yourself, I like to do 16oz every hour on the hour from rising out of bed until about an hour or 2 before bed.

Most Greek yogurts have almost double the protein content of regular milk.

I currently use Myogenix Hyper-Shock Rage 30 minutes pre-workout. And for intra-workout, I sip on BPI Best BCAA mixed with BPI Best Creatine between sets.

Mix the Nitro-Tech into the chocolate milk post-workout.

As stated by previous posters, you should start some kind of progressive resistance training to gain strength and some muscle size. The more you have, the more calories you will burn. Start with bodyweight resistance exercises, then maybe resistance bands, and finally move on to weight training when your ready to advance.

Yes that is a pic I took of myself back in June and I do think the total gym would be a fantastic piece of equipment for an aging woman to maintain her fitness levels, and as I understand it, there are several different models now of the Total Gym to choose from.

$40 I have these and enough 10lb plates to make 2 80lb dumbbells which is plenty for most home use applications. Other than that I just go to the gym.

I started working out again after a 5 year hiatus using a total gym. I was ready to move on after about 60 days.

Although I've enjoyed participating (and exceeding) in the July/August challenges, I will not be continuing the same volume of training moving forward. My season culminates this Saturday with an annual 5k race then I will be taking a week off before returning to a much lower volume hypertrophy/strength protocol for the…
