  • That I'm starting over today and getting back on track. For new friends walking into my life.
  • Eat something that you know will fill you rather than filler foods, and for me exercising can make the hunger go away.
  • What would you usually eat for a snack? Some things don't fill you as well as you would like. A lot of people don't eat after nine, but I posted a discussion recently about eating late and the majority of the opinions were that if you have the calories to spend you can spend them any time before midnight and still lose…
  • Lol sorry, not trying to create a trap. I should've been more specific. I was talking about as far as weight loss goes.
  • Hmm, well to answer all the questions of what I meant by junk food, I meant for you to fill in the blank of whatever you think junk food is. Everyone has their own thoughts as far as what is junk and what is good. As far as me, I consider eating out, sweets, and empty carbs like potato chips and such to be junk food.…
  • review why you want to reach your goals. Think of the things you can do when you reach them, whether it's more confidence in yourself, or the ability to do something active you haven't been able to.. either way, remember why you want it and take the steps to reach it. Remember that it'll be worth it. Watch Chris Pratt…
  • I breathe and take it one day at a time. And it sucks. I wish it was easier, I wish I could snap my fingers and take the weight off.. but I guess every second I get frustrated I turn my thoughts to the thought that every second I'm closer to looking amazing. Every hard choice I make right is like letting go of a pound of…
  • This was really helpful thanks. I guess I probably should be eating more in this case.. my calorie intake is 1,380 and honestly, I only usually get to 1,000 at the most a day. I assume that's probably bad.
  • I guess I'm a bit confused on the "need" to eat those calories. Do you need to? Or i can? I don't usually because I figure this will help my weight loss even more if I'm burning even more calories and just leaving them burned.
  • Break ups are the worst girl, I'm so sorry. I started my journey about 2 months ago now. When I first began I started with little steps. The first one was no sweets. Now I know, some people prefer to be able to work sweets into their diet and that's totally fine if that's what works for them, but I find that if I eat…
  • Wow! Thanks for all the responses. I appreciate it. :)
  • Yeah, thanks for making it more clear! I'm not great at explaining things. I got it mixed up but it's definitely good to have the info cleared up. I've recently started working on strength training and have wondered if the scale will tip to more weight when the muscle comes in, but you say the dieting will prevent that?…
  • Calorie counting is key as everyone said, but also, if you are working out and gaining muscle, muscle weight is a heavier than fat. Therefore, though you may be getting rid of fat, the scale still doesn't change. I'm no expert, but this might have something to do with it? It really just depends on what your workouts…
  • When I started I started small and did what I needed to to move toward where I wanted to be. I set little goals. First it was just no sweets, then it was healthier foods in general but still a lot in amount, then it was smaller portions, then it was calorie counting. This kept me from going crazy. It's ok if it takes baby…
  • Started April 31st and have lost 12 pounds. Lol I'm hoping it shows. I'm feeling pretty down today cuz I feel like it should be faster but I'm trying to just keep going.
