I have been ketoish 2+ years. I eat more protein then the typical keto diet but definitely low carb and high fat. I have been OMAD for nearly 4 weeks, workout regularly and strength has not dropped off.

I am not arguing I would or would not have made the same or more gains or this is the best way to eat. Everyone should find what works them that enables a consistent behavior. This works for me.

I have been low carb for 2 years and have made good gains and lost plenty of fat. I am not strict keto due to eating more protein but still consume plenty of fat and limit carb intake.

Bench in a squat rack with the safety bars set at the height to rest the bar if you cannot complete the lift

I use bluetooth ear buds. They have 4gb of memory so you can copy music to the buds. No wires. No cell phone. True freedom for workingout and running :)

From what I read, the folks into the Egg Fast Diet have rather strict rules on how to follow it. However it does not matter for this thread. Everyone has their own journey :)

I need to read it. It would be great to see some data supporting what I have been doing the entire time on keto. FWIW my protein intake has been higher than the typical keto diet because of all the training I do.

You would have to read the diet as designed for the specific details. IIRC the egg + 1 tbsp of fat = good ratio for keto.

If you do not add the fat then it is not the Egg Fast diet as designed. Obviously anyone can fast with just eggs but it would not be the Egg Fast Diet.

You can add muscle while losing weight. Just be consistent with your dist and your workouts.

I like the egg fast and have done it twice now to break a weight loss stall (both successful). I'm convinced my body likes to hold water which is one of the things the egg fast helps with. I love eggs so it is not that difficult for me. Make sure you are consuming enough sodium, fat and water.
