  • Focused on cooking and eating better (basically just less carbs) last week and lost ~3 lbs so down to 203.7 this morning! Going to try to keep it going this week - just need to lay off the drinking a bit and I'm sure I'll get down to the hundreds in a few weeks.
  • I was in Honolulu on vacation last week and put on 5 lbs so I'm currently sitting at 207 lbs. I'm back in Seattle now and trying to eat & sleep better so I can start losing weight again. Good luck all!
  • What do you like to do on your days off? - I've recently been trying out some circus arts and like hand balancing and aerial straps. I like to weight lift as well but that's been slacking recently. For sitting activities I really enjoy learning about art and game development. I'm a novice at Zbrush and Maya but I still…
  • I'm at 201.9 today! Can't wait to hit < 200 lbs. There are some super impressive improvements in this thread! Keep it up all.
  • It really depends on your goals but I think the fitness subreddits are a good starting point. In any case - make sure your diet is good and you're getting enough calories and protein or you will either not gain muscle or just gain fat #cultivatingmass. https://www.reddit.com/r/Fitness/wiki/getting_started /r/fitness has a…
  • Down to 203 lbs the last couple of days so that feels good. I haven't been below 200 in at least 8 years so that would definitely make me happy! Word
  • 206 this morning so that's +1 which isn't great. I did get out running twice and went 10 miles but drank way too much so going to lay off the booze for a bit.
  • Cheat days are great for your own mental health and it increases a hormone in your body called leptin which helps you feel fuller. Most people do a cheat day once a week and if you're already on the skinnier side you can do it twice a week because your leptin levels decrease faster. Good luck over there in the UK (WORLD…
  • Ah I think I totally misread what he wrote and he was just saying he was 282 on Monday and his goal is 260. I thought he meant his goal for next Monday was 260.
  • Stronglifts is pretty cool. I think any of those starting programs that use linear progression are great for increasing your base metabolic rate and getting stronger. Just make sure you're doing the lifts correctly so you aren't damaging your spine! I herniated a disk before I learned better. I rarely go to the gym anymore…

  • You're trying to lose 22 lbs in a week? Dave goes hard.
  • Are you trying to lose or gain weight? If you're trying to lose some pounds then you really don't need to eat breakfast. Check out intermittent fasting if you want to learn more. I almost never eat before noon because I find eating 2 meals a day keeps my cortisol levels in check and I'm way less hungry throughout the day.
  • Was 204.6 lbs yesterday morning. Goal is 190 for now and will go from there. Good luck all!
  • Going to begin the assault by running tonight and listening to the latest podcast #content. May CCGesus guide us all to the gym.
  • I typically don't like wearing watches but I like the smaller feel of the charge hr. The Alta looks cool too but I haven't tried that one. +1 for the Aria scale. I'm too lazy to log my weight manually so it's nice to just step on that everyday and have it recorded.
