We're in a similar situation...needing to lose weight due to health issues...let's lose together! I use a stationary bike...first week at it, 15 min each day...I plan to increase time by 3 min each week...yesterday I burned 175 cal...anyway, would appreciate it if u add me...thx

Sounds like we're all in the same boat. I love to eat. I love to eat. So I have a new plan. Portion control on the entree just so I can have a few bites of good food, then get full on fresh veggies, no dressing, no croutons...just stuff like celery and carrots, tomatoes, cukes, etc...and then gotta exercise…

Maybe I should say more about myself lol...need to lose 50 to be at "ideal" weight...lost about 4 lbs since Sat. Been doing stationary biking every day, starting at 15 min and targeting caloric intake at ~ 1500 cal (not incl exercise burned cals). My past failures toward weight loss have been bcuz I live to eat...love…

Same here...50 is the goal. Gradual is the way to go. Portion control and eating delish foods is my plan...also daily exercise for me...hope you're getting some of that too!

Just thought of this yesterday...the farmer's markets here have vendors serving very tasty foods...my plan is to pick up a couple of plates, portion them out into thirds, then have each portion as entree and fill up with fresh veggies like celery, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc...this way, I get to eat really delicious…

Yes, it is fun in that it is relatively easy to lose weight. What I mean by this is that we all know how to lose weight; it's just that we also love to eat and that sometimes wins out..ok...most times wins out...but it is fun bcuz we can see our progress in numerical form so it's rewarding as we see our weight drop
