  • Eaten clean all week save some home made Onion Bhaji's and a couple of slices of cake. Resisting the biscuits in the office and the flapjack in the cafeteria. Set to do an 80 mile bike ride tomorrow, so will be eating a fair amount over the next 24 hours to get me through it. Hopefully still see some kind of results by the…
  • Ate at above maintenance before my triathlon, then binge ate for a few days and ended up at 185lbs again. Been back at it again for the last few days and I am now 182.5lbs.... I still back myself to get down to 179lbs by the 22nd of June though - 3 weeks, 3.5 pounds. 22nd of July would then be an aim of 176, then try and…
  • SW: 185 GW: 179 22/5 – 185 24/5 – 184.5 26/5 - 182 Most of that is going to be lost water weight - I was exercising in the heat last night, and didn't take enough on board. Have to eat at maintenance over the next three days now, as I have a triathlon on Monday - no more weight loss until the end of next week now!
  • Zombie thread... Squash in Britain is flavoured, and still. Think Ribena or Robinsons brand which you then dilute with water.
  • I was almost at my 176 goal this time a month ago, but I have suffered a few setbacks – binge eating, depression, holiday and meals out. SW: 185 GW: 179 22/5 – 185 24/5 – 184.5
  • ... but have you gained weight? If you've stayed the same or lost weight, then it's not a problem - you've achieved one of the hardest things - a lifestyle change. If you can stick it for eight weeks, thats fantastic. I normally make it 2-3 weeks before a binge - eight would be awesome. Get back to it, you'll be ok :)
  • Thanks for your comment :) I'm trying not to lose a large amount of weight in a quick period, only looking for 4-5lbs a month for March and April - I discovered last year that constant weight loss will lead to a major binge, mood swings and general feeling of lethargy, I need to go slow and steady, break if I lose too much…
  • March starting weight - 182lbs March goal - 178lbs Ultimate goal - 174lbs 1/3: 182lbs 3/3: 181lbs 7/3: 179lbs Total loss for march - 3lbs Hmm. Seem to have lost a little more than expected in the first week. If I hit my target early I will probably just eat at maintenance for a week.
  • Hi Lisa, firstly well done on your fight - it's a tough thing to go through. I had three years of treatment for leukaemia which also left me absolutely exhausted, and I gained four stone during that time. I'm now fitter and stronger than I have ever been, and only 10lbs over my pre-cancer weight. Good luck on your…
  • March starting weight - 182lbs March goal - 178lbs Ultimate goal - 174lbs 1/3: 182lbs 3/3: 181lbs Total loss for march - 1lbs I tend to weigh myself quite often as my coach is constantly reminding me to hydrate, drink back what I lose during a workout etc. I'm feeling really confident of managing my 4lbs goal this month.
  • I'm in, and since it is now Lent and I have given up sweet treats, I think this could be a great month! March starting weight - 182lbs March goal - 178lbs Ultimate goal - 174lbs Total loss for march - 0lbs
  • Forgot to come and update this. I started off the momt much heavier than I was expecting, so to hit my goal of 175 is asking a bit much. I weighed in this morning at 179, so it's possible...
  • I'll join this one - it'll be great motivation during a tough month - three weddings, four Christmas family meals and a holiday at new year - danger lurking at every corner! Original starting weight : 226 December starting weight : (Set to be between 179 to 181) December goal : 175 Ultimate goal : 174 2nd : 9th : 16th :…
