Before loosing 102 lbs, finding clothes that fit was a real challenge. Shirts were too tight at the belly or too wide at the shoulder. Pants too small at the waist or it the waist was ok then they had to be super baggy. I did not expect “standard” clothes to fit well, especially when I was considering custom-tailored…

I lost 103#over the last 18 months and have no loose skin per se. Of course my skin is not as taunt (belly, arms, butt) but would not call it loose skin. I wore compression shirts while loosing, no way to tell it if helped or not but it made me feel slimmer at the time ;-)

Congrats! You are one a good way.

Well done. You got this!

Well done and congratulations on your achievement. Very inspirational. Thanks

So true! I keep my tee-shirts folded in a drawer and moving from XXL to L or M I can have 3 piles across instead of two ;-)

Scary! Same situation here, same starting weight, down to 161 now... and I’m 46

Awesome. Welcome to the 100# club ! ;-)

Everyday, 1st thing when I get up. I use HappyScale to log the daily weight. I prefer the trend chart and weight prediction over the MFP version.

I held to my clothes for a short while but when they were too big I started donating them to charity. I found it helped me convince myself there is no way back to these clothes! I had a few pricey clothing pieces (cashmere shirts, 3-pieces suits) I kept for over a year but being 103# down, my pant size went from 42 to 32…

Welcome! I have been using MFP for 440 days, 103 lbs down. You can do it too whatever your goal is. Just be honest and consistent with your logging. Fell free to add me as friend.

Well done. Congrats!

Awesome! You are doing great. Keep it up ;-)

Congrats! You look great. My story is almost exactly the same. 102# down over the last 13 months, counting calories. I still eat all my favorite food (in smaller quantities of course!). Starving and depriving yourself is not going to be sustainable mid to long term. Too often I hear people saying the will start that new…

Diet Eating "Clean" "Bad" food I personally don't embrace those terms, IIFM that is OK with me ;-)

Love eggs but the whole egg can make a dent in the caloric budget. What I found is working best for me in the morning is one egg + 1/2 cup off egg whites (equivalent to 2 eggs). Along with some Greek/plain yogurt with frozen fruits and a sprinkle of All-bran this makes a very sustainable breakfast lasting up to lunch time.…

Well done! You can do this, just be consistent and honest with your log. You look great!

You are at the right place. I just passed the 100 mark a few days ago. Never taught I could make it pass 20-30 lbs, the community and friends on MFP were key to my success.
-
Well done! You are on the right track.

Thanks everyone for your support, honestly I could not have done it without MFP and the great community we have here! I am slowly increasing my daily allowance towards a maintenance goal then will try to stay there for a while, basically taking a break from that 13 month cut. I have to look info à training buddy or a…

Actually this should be the subject of another thread... For the first two months I did it without telling him as I was unsure if I would be able to drop any weight. When I told him about it he was not supportive at all, telling me this is crazy and I should not have to drop any weight, eating to little, etc... But his…

Thanks folks! Just added a pix to my previous post.

For me there I would say it was a concurrence of many things coming together: While Shopping for clothes, my hubby found a very nice shirt of my favorite colour. While being a 17-1/2 size (xl) is was way too tight for me. However it fitted him so he bought it for himself. I searched for the same shirt in xxl size but it…

Awesome! MFP this post should be pinned at the top of the list! ;-)
