As of yesterday, 06/24/17...I hit the 100 pound mark. I'm now at 243(.4), with my next mini goal/long term goal to get down to 199, since I can't remember the last time I weighed under 200 lbs (probably the 5th grade, maybe 3rd)...

My NSV is health-wise. I had some blood work done at a recent health fair, and this week I got the results back. I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol, have for awhile now, though my blood pressure seems to be finally sorting itself out since I'm not as big as I was when I was first put on my medicine (I'm still…

Tagalongs, I would eat the whole box if I could have. Behind them was samoas. Both of those I liked to put in the fridge to get good and cold, just seemed to taste better that way, even though it didn't help my teeth that much. And the Trefoils. I love a good shortbread cookie. This year though, hadn't bought any, don't…

Let me preface this by saying that my nsv has to do with my weight, but not so much the scale. Tonight I was doing my laps at Walmart, and one of the employees stopped me asked me, if I had lost a lot of weight. I grinned at her, told her I had. She then tells me she was almost afraid to ask me if I did because she didn't…

Well, as of this past Monday, I've hit the -75 mark at 268(.8)...:) So my next mini goal/long term goal is...243, which will be the -100 pound mark.

I'm not going to worry about going over today. It's Christmas, a time to spend with family and friends (if you can and want to), and sometimes that means eating and/or drinking (my case it's Pepsi and Chocolate Milk). I'm logging everything I have ate/will eat/plan to demolish, and if I go over, I go over...I might be a…

Sirloin beef tip roast with baby carrots and red potatoes, crescent rolls, broccoli and cheese, and something else, just don't know what yet. And cookies, candy and fudge...In moderation of course... and Merry Christmas to y'all!

I've got to admit, I'm a little nervous about posting this because well, I am...but I figure that a lot of you were probably the same way too once upon a post, so there's that. The difference in both of these pictures is a month and 3 days. The one where I'm outside, was taken on 11/04/16 and the one where I'm inside, was…

Just a picture of leftovers from last night, but it's everything we had, except for the collard greens, because I don't eat collard greens.
-
Daily, but I only log my weight into MFP every other Tuesday.

To eat the recommended serving size of the Christmas candies I like to eat instead of eating however many it is that I want...might be easier said than done, but if I can eat the portion of candy corn as stated on the bag at Halloween and lose, I can do this...I hope.

I was able for the first time since 2011 when I got them for Christmas to zip up the pair of blue jean capri pants my dad got me. I've been able to pull them up and over my bottom, but never could get the front close enough to zip, let alone button them close. Tonight, I could do both. Yay!

As of this morning I weigh 290, beating the 293 I had set up for my next 'goal' (which was really my first big goal). The lady who's leading my pre-diabetic class was like "You're out of the 300's", and I'm like "Yes, I am." So happy, so very happy. Next goal weight...268, which will put me at a loss of 75 pounds since I…

Today I weighed in at 298...beat my first goal weight by one pound...next up 293, for fifty pounds gone.
-
Well, as of yesterday, I'm 1 pound away from 300 (the scale just couldn't let me have it), but I'm happy knowing that at my next weigh in, I should be at 299 (that is if I keep losing at the rate I've been losing). Then after that, I'm looking at 293 because then I'll be down 50 pounds, and honestly, that kind of blows my…

I am 6 pounds from 300, and 7 pounds away from my first goal of 299 (because I honestly can't remember the last time I weighed less than 300 pounds).
-
I lost 4 pounds since my last weigh in (two weeks ago), so now I'm 6 pounds away from 300, and I'm down 37 pounds all together since I started losing weight back in March...yay!
-
I think this might count for a NSV... Today is my nephew's 9th birthday, and instead of eating three cupcakes like I did at his brother's birthday party back in March, I just ate one cupcake...his mom tried to get me to take more home with me, but honestly, that one cupcake was all I wanted, no more, no less. Not bad for…

Baby carrots, and if I had my usual turkey sandwich, I would have had 'crisp greens' (so says the bag) on it...it has red cabbage, iceberg and romaine lettuce and carrots in it.

SW: 343 (though probably higher than this before 3/8 when I attended my first pre-diabetic class) CW: 316 (I now weigh less than I did when I was 18 by 2 pounds, woot!) GW: 243 (for the moment...), but right now I'll be a happy girl when I get to 299...I can't remember the last time I was under 300 pounds.
-
I weigh daily (because that's what my pre-diabetic class leaders wants us to do), and I make a note of it, but I actually go by whatever I weigh in class (currently we weigh in every other week), and that's what I report into MFP, leaving it be until the next time.

I never knew about broccoli slaw until reading this, thank you, I will be getting some of that on my next grocery trip.
-
No, no significance to it, just a totally random number off the top of my head. And thank you.

24 and counting...

Getting to 317 lbs. As of today, I'm 319 lbs, by my scale which is 3 to 4 pounds different than the one in my pre-diabetic class, so I might already be at 317 and don't know it, but I'm doing baby steps...already down 24 pounds since March 8th, so I think it's working.
