@Pupowl we have friends in Rotterdam. I made it through my first movie today without eating popcorn 🍿 and a box of Raisinets!

Ok, I’ll start - just a few hours ahead of the New Year! One habit I’m going to build: I need to let go of the idea that a good workout has to be 45-60 minutes. That doesn’t fit in my lifestyle anymore (except maybe 1-2 days a week) and a 10-20 minute strength workout is more feasible most days. (It’s better than skipping…

Hi guys, Thanks for adding me! I’m Ashley and I’m 41. Married, have a 10 year old son, and 4 cats. The last time I was successful on MFP was losing the baby weight. I maintained the loss for a few years while I was working part-time, then didn’t have the energy or motivation when I started working full-time again 5 years…

Feel free to add me…41 years old and need to lose at least 15 lbs.

Same weight, same goal. I’m in!

I’ve lost 15 pounds twice...here we go again!
-
I just re-read your post and I’m not lifting that much...maybe 1 to 2 times a week so we might not be on the same track.
-
I think people are probably intimidated to add you...LOL. I’m guessing I can learn some things from you, so feel free to add me!

Hey guys! I am 37 and a mom of a 6 year old. Full-time teacher. I was in better shape years ago when I worked part time but have stopped being active and gained 15-20 pounds. Need to find my groove again with tracking calories & exercising. Also, my favorite exercise is spinning! Would love to join your group!

Robert, What about jogging? .45 x weight x miles?

I always subtract 20% from whatever calories it says I burned. I talked to a trainer at the gym about it one time & he said cardio machines overestimate so 20% is a safe bet. The same might apply to MFP? Easy math is 300 calories x .20 = 60. So I would record 240 calories. Hope that helps! :)
