I certianly don't want to mess with his brand if it's working but maybe they carry a flavored? I'm using a strawberry flavored oil and the taste isn't too bad.

Since I have a ways to goal weight I'm wondering what schedule of diet breaks I will be on. I suspect he will put me on every 6-12 weeks but we haven't discussed it yet. I'm really ok with whatever:) Before I broke my foot in 2017 I was 6 months in a deficit and I felt like I could go on, actually I feel like I can…

I went to the local smoke shop. I did a fair amount of research on CBD oil before going in so I had a genearal idea of what I wanted, but they were knowlegable and helpful too. The lavender rub was a tester I tried while at the shop, on my hands which bother me and it was a nice cooling sensation and lavender smell. It…

I hired a fitness coach for strength training and help with setting me up for maintenance.

Ok so I got a little feed back from a couple vetran posters here and I value their opinion so I've decided to go ahead. I'll start with yesterday which was Day 1. F52 5'4" SW 235ish (Hired my coach at 219 11.1.18) CW 202 (yesterday) GW 145ish (will reacess when I get there) My coach bumped me up from 1264 average to 1500…

Thank you, that's a good idea. I added it to the OP

I also take CBD oil for insominia. I'm just a year older than you. CBD oil also helps some with anxiety so you may want to check it out. @GottaBurnEmAll - I take 25mg about 15-20 min before sleep sublingual and I have a CBD lavender rub for my fibromyalgia and arthritis pain that I take at the same time.

I'd swear that's all I get when I weigh out a serving of cashews for 170 calories:)

57 for my 1st goal then we'll reacess after that. For clarity I agree with my coach on the diet break. I just wondered if it's beneficial to journal it here for others?

This is exactly what SideSteel put me at for my diet break that I just started.

Yes if you’re constantly hungry bump up your calories a bit to lose 1 1/2lb.

So take out usually is high in sodium so you not losing could be because of water retention. I don't think I know what a craving is. When I have a hankering for a sweet I usually have it and make sure it fits in my days calorie allotment. I eat out often so I just try to plan for it to make sure that I can fit everything…

Maybe increased fiber, you should adjust soon. Also I second the caution about going below 1500 calories.

Do not mistake their concern for a measure of your value. They are concerned for you yet are being thoughtless about how they are expressing it. You are not your weight. There is so much more to people (you) than their bodies. You know what you have to offer someone so be confident in that. Having said that weight does…

Click on their name and then click on their name again in the pop up, you'll see it. On mobile click on their name, click again and hit the little person with a + next to it.

I understand what your saying, I once felt that way too but... I have to admit I learned the most from "snarky" comments here on mfp. I was the ACV, fasting any quick thing I could do that I read on a blog post type of dieter. I had soooooooooo much wrong information in my head about what to do and not do. My very first…

Thinking I had all the answers and that my way was the right way to lose or maintain when the weight slowly creeped up. I've learned since then that one thing may work now but I might have to adjust later so I need to be flexible and open minded about what works for others because when my "tips" stop working I may need to…

Hike in the national park, beautiful day but was sad not seeing the park rangers I'm accustomed to seeing.

No but I've been in the mountians in Yosemite camping and heard this weird scream like half animal half woman. I think it was a mountain lion though. Unsetteling when all that's between you and it is a canvas tent and its pitch black outside:).
-
Do you think it sounds moralistic to you because you think people on a plant based diet are judging you becasue you eat animal products? It sounds descriptive to me, do you think maybe you are assigning an intent?

I have an online trainer, he used to post here a lot. He's totally worth it so far, my strength training is custom to some of my injury's and he's easing me into lifting so I'm not experiencing the pain that would normally make me quit. He monitors my macros and calories and has good tips when I need help. He's a good…

Potatoes and Greek yogurt ranch dressing! And sometimes together:)

I got the adjustable bowflex dumbbells that go up to 50lbs each. A little pricy but I don't have alot of room for racks. I do squats, overhead press, floor press, hip thrusters & bentover row. And I walk/hike for cardio.

You can't control what others think or do, you can only control your reaction. This is somthing my dad would pound into my head as a kid:). So I guess there are a few things I'd think about first...Did you talk alot about weight loss, food etc? Sometimes overweight people can FEEL like we are directing that general talk…

Spicy boca chicken, benevolent ham, pepper jack cheese, spinach on a bagel thin and for dinner leftover 3 bean vegetarian chili .

I really think you take peoples comments especially your friends comments too seriously, between this thread and your other one. I'm cutting and I had a piece of pizza and my friend said something to the effect of "I thought you were on a diet". Now I could have gotten upset about that and assigned negative intent to it…

Bagel Thin with Spicy Boca "chicken", benevolant "ham", pepper jack cheese, mustard and as much spinach as I could pile on the sandwich.
