Try using this to work out his caloric needs instead of just guessing. I used the info you posted and it came out at 2600 calories a day. If it's all set up like that but still doesn't show the exact number of steps, you could try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Hope that helps.

You're on the app, right? Go to "more" on the bottom right hand side then scroll through the list to "steps" and tap the bit that says about using your iPhone to track them. That should do it.

For dinner tonight I had a baked sweet potato with balsamic & herb roasted veggies, like courgette/zucchini, carrots, mushrooms, red onion and red bell pepper. You could also use hummus, bean/vegetable chilli or homemade coleslaw in a vinaigrette instead of mayonnaise.

I have mine set at 1300 but that is just because I don't count the calories in fruits or veggies (except for potatoes). I've tried, but it becomes a major source of stress for me.

I am starting at 415lbs (ugh!) and would like to get down to 200lbs. It's not an "ideal" weight but it feels much more attainable right now than aiming for 120lbs or whatever. Feel free to add me!
