@Lietchi exercising for me is definitely a good mood booster but also gives a back calories and is a great way to stay fit! Thanks for sharing!

You look awesome! If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to get to your current weight? I have about the same amount of weight to lose!
-
Thanks everyone! Lots of helpful advice here 😊
-
That makes sense. Thank you! 😊

I struggle the most with diet (at times) so I’d say that it may be easiest for me to stick with getting my diet together and being consistent with that. I am good about consistently taking a walk or getting strength training in at home, however, I know that’s not helpful if my diet is poor.

Thank you! This makes sense!

@PaleoPrince If you’re walking an hour or two a day, you are definitely getting some exercise in, although it may not be considered HIIT. Walking is actually my choice of exercise as well.... At least for now while the gym is closed!
-
I find that to be true for me too, in regards to exercise being more psychological. It’s almost like getting in the zone, right frame of mind, and staying on track! 😊

@rainbow198 thank you!! I’m staying consistent!!
-
@lemurcat2 I’m super thankful for all the helpful advice here! It has already begun helping me! 😊

@hipari great advice. My plan is to incorporate those things that I like into my daily calories so that I can continue and make it a lifestyle change. The other way would totally be setting myself up for binge eating which is counterproductive of course. Thanks a lot!

@Avidkeo chocolate is also something that I love, so it would be important to still have it, but in moderation. I often use measuring cups for some things, but I’ll make it a habit to always use scales. Thanks!

@bmeadows380 great advice! Thank you again!

@lgfrie thank you!!!! Very very helpful!

@janejellyroll thank you! This makes a lot of sense!

[/b] It was’t super long that I had been on 1390. Maybe 3 weeks. But I’d also say that there may have been 2 to 3 cheat days which could’ve thrown off things a bit.

@AnnPT77 Awesome! Thank you! I’ll check it out.

@rainbow198 thanks so much and you look great! 😊

@SnifterPug I have been focusing on food more too. But I definitely agree. Finding exercise that you like makes the world of a difference! Thank you! @Jthanmyfitnesspal thanks for the helpful advice too! I’ve considered that it may be time for professional help as well. Just to get over the hump of trying to initially lose…
-
@NovusDies I have also been there done that - overeating because I haven’t eaten much and then become hungry and eat everything! I know it’s a process that I must learn all over again! Thank you!
-
@AnnPT77 you rock! Thank you! What a great way of looking at it - it’s a lifestyle change and not just a short term goal to work towards! 😁 Many thanks!!
-
Thank you @PAV8888 ! I too often struggle with how much of a deficit I should be in. I often say that I exercise to feel good, which I truly do believe. I just didn’t wanna be counterproductive in my efforts. I’m going to take it a day at a time, but this helps! Thanks!!
-
Thanks and good for you! Congratulations on the weight loss!

Thank you. I have quite a bit to lose. I’m 245 pounds, 5’4, and I would like to get to 190 as my first goal.
