I love throwing away problem foods instead of eating them. I know it is wasteful, but "economy sizing" is part of how I got myself into this mess in the first place. Throwing food away has helped me avoid buying it the next time.

NSV: Put on day 1 of C25K, Got half way through and the blasted thing crashed! :# So, for me, a big victory: half of day 1. I abhor cardio, aka exercise without purpose (I know, not really, but that's how it feels), so I am really proud and ready to try again tomorrow!

Sometimes when I first start a diet I lose 7 # the first week. Not to be too gross, but I kind of think that when I'm overeating, I'm carrying a lot more "waste" in my gut at all times, and I think that is why I drop so fast the first week but not after that. I dunno.

Also, some times when I'm crashing I mix cranberry juice and water together and have a good-sized glass. It takes the edge off the hunger for a little while.

Depending on the veggie, it might be possible to fill up with few calories. That way a meal at least can still feel satisfyingly large.

It's okay to eat veggies every two hours :)

Junk food is junk food no matter if it's eaten by a skinny person or not! But anyway, my wife has learned which treats she loves and I hate. I trained her to buy those by eating all the "good stuff" before she could get around to it :p
