  • I had VSG 5/5/17. I also use carb manager. It helps a lot when you are first learning Keto. I’m down 125lbs with 25 more to go to goal. I’ve been stuck at my current weight for over a year.
  • I use a scale and I do count my calories. But I’ve been at a stall for a long time. I’ve been maintaining for about a year now. I haven’t lost weight since I was 10 months post op.
  • Surgery was definitely worth it. I do struggle with appetite here and there. I haven’t lost weight since I was 10 months post op. I’ve been maintaining my weight. I’m very frustrated at this point. My surgeons office suggests 800-900 calories per day and to stay under 50g of carbs. It’s helping me to maintain but not lose.…
  • I basically could have wrote your initial Comment. I’m 5’4” and weigh 176. I had VSG 5/5/17 and have reflux so bad. My doctors submitted my revision to insurance on Nov 30th for Bypass so I’m waiting to hear back. How are you feeling now?
  • I take B12 sublingual daily. I take 500 units every single day.
  • I just ordered vitamin patches from PatchMD. They are good for 24 hours and you put a new one on. Hopefully this will be sufficient. I'm struggling with the multivitamins.
  • I do Zumba 3X a week. There is already a value for how many calories I burn. However there isn't for squats.
  • Suggestions??

  • I have the same issue. I actually went to the informational session and my first appointment with the bariatric doctor. I've been in weight watchers for 5 years and I yoyo with it. I don't have high blood pressure and I'm not diabetic but I'm overweight. I'm giving this (MFP) a try while still going through the motions of…
  • I just bought an Apple Watch so hopefully I won't have this issue anymore.
  • My daily allowance is 92 and I eat around 150 but I always stay below my calories. I do not have any medical issues affected by protein consumption. Just arthritis in my ankle. I do exercise (walking and stationary bike).
  • I am always below on my calories but go over the protein. On average I'm around 1200-1400 per day. My allowance is 1480.
  • Fitbit has been really off lately too. I know for a fact that yesterday I climbed 6 flights of stairs, fitbit said 27??? I have a desk job and getting up from my desk to walk to the bathroom, lunch room whatever... By the time I left work it said I walked over 8000 steps. I know for a fact that I didn't. I'm not sure if…
  • I'm doing 1480 calories per day and I find it very difficult to reach that. I'm meeting my protein but I can't seem to get all the calories. Also I'm not eating the extra calories earned from exercise. I'm hoping this isn't a bad thing?!? But I'm in the same boat as you... I'm new to MFP with Lots of weight to lose and I…
  • Lentil chips! You can find them in the organic section of the grocery store. They are not bad for you, you still get the crunch if the tortilla chip.
  • I just started drinking protein shakes. I use unsweetened almond milk and a little PB2 with vanilla protein. Yummy!
  • Thanks! There is just a big difference between my phone and my Fitbit.
  • Life is busy!! I agree 100%. I have 3 kids and I'm always on the go. But I am going to start prepping meals on Sunday to prevent eating out or eating from a box! I can already tell MFP is a great tool to help me make decisions. I'm not used to having to log fruits and veggies and after not paying attention for years on how…
