  • Oh one last question on sodium. MFP recommends I eat 2300mg a day, but I generally only eat 1700 ish a day? Would my weight loss slow down if I upped it to 2200 ish?
  • Thanks guys for the replies, my second question is, the macros....., I go slightly over on protein some days but am generally slightly under on carbs / sugar / fat / sodium etc....is this fine? I'm probably over thinking it to be honest reading your replies aren't i? Lol cheers guys
  • Yeah I do eat fairly healthy, eat a lot of fresh chicken as I'm a big guy I need more protein than most people wanting to lose.   • Thanks for your time in posting the above, i'll continue to do what I do then by making sure I don't go over my 2300mg recommended by MFP and by cutting 1000cals a day and should (fingers crossed) see a weight loss soon. I've also started the couch to 5k running to increase metabolism to shift a few lbs. Cheers
  • Hey, i've lost just under 2lb in 3 weeks, cutting 1000 cals per day as recommended, was kinda of hoping for a but more, is it not a problem then if i continue to eat as much sodium as i currently do?
