  • Honestly, I tried tracking my calories, and it did work, but I ended up gaining th weight back + some (I’m assuming because I didn’t keep it up but why would I want to count calories forever) , so I don’t really want to track, I just want to know if elemenating all that stuff (junk) will help me loose weight.
  • See that's what I was thinking, but I weighed a constant 124. Whatever since I started, so going down a pound and a half is pretty cool to me and I'm happy about it ;-)
  • We only do 20 minutes cardio, and stretch just to warm up to weights. I have noticed that I can lift heavier than when I started
  • We go to the gym 4 days a week, do cardio, stretch, and then do weight training, we break up the days (back and bis, abs and legs, shoulder/chest triceps, and abs and legs again) I'm kind of confused on my goal, not sure if I should aim to lose weight then build muscle, or maintain and build muscle? I just want a toned,…
  • I am 5'3, female, 20 years old! My logging isn't suuuper accurate, I meausure some things, eyeball other things.
  • My original goal was to build muscle and 'tone' up my body. But now that I've gained weight I'm confused if I should lose weight or if what I'm doing is taking me in the right direction.
  • Does this 'water weight' ever go away?
  • I did take measurements a few weeks ago, maybe 3 weeks, but I haven't taken them again! And also, I started with a 5 pound kettlebell, no weight with abs, and now I use a 10 pound kettle bell, 5 pound with abs. I've only been doing that for about 2 weeks, so I plan on going to a 15 and 10 in probably another 2
  • I don't necessarily want to 'lose' weight. I just want my body to be more firm and toned
  • Hey guys! Thanks for the quick response :) I just edited my post and added a bit more detail! I know I take in somewhere around 2000 calories per day, and my maintain is 1700. With exercise (since I do minimal cardio) I burn around 80-100 calories, so not much. Also, I don't necessarily want to 'lose' weight, I just want…
  • They are 5, 10, and 15. But I have not lifted any weights before. Of course I will up the weights once I need to. I'll probably start off with the 10 or 15
  • Thank you all so much! :)
  • I was thinking or adding hand weights to my training I have already! Do you think that would help?
  • I'm eating at maintence now, sorry didn't know that was important to mention!
  • I went back through and edited it.. I went over 2 days, and then have been eating bad the last 5 days... like said above, hot wings, Chinese food, ihop, etc. So I'm thinking maybe it's just all the salty food and I'm holding a little bit of water weight?
  • I am just looking to tone, and tighten. I have lost all the fat that I think I need to lose, and am at a happy weight. I'm 19, 5'2, female, weighing in around 109-110, and I started at 117-118, I have now switched over to maintain. I read online that Pilates will help me tone and tighten areas! I will be doing it 2-3 times…
  • I'm just looking to tone, and tighten, and I read online that Pilates can help with that!
  • This is just me starting out my strength training, I was planning on doing longer, and harder as the workouts get easier for me. I will look at the other page. Thanks!
  • I'm only doing 10 minutes of cardio because I don't want to burn any fat, or muscle anymore, but keep up my cardio to a healthy weight. And I'm only doing 10 minutes of strength training because I'm not wanting to look like a body builder, I don't want a physic like that, I just want me stomach, legs, back, etc tighter
  • Thank you guys all so much for the reply! I was feeling super down about myself, but I'm glad it's not just me that feels gross during tom!
  • Fitness blender on YouTube has quick workouts anywhere from 8-10 minutes and then longer ones from an 30 minutes to an hour, I would recommend the 10 minute ones, so at least you can do some cardio you can try to fit it in before bed, or can wake up 10 minutes earlier to do it or your baby might even have fun working out…
  • I log all my food before I eat it, and then I go back after I'm done eating and update it if I didn't finish the serving size, or if I ate more than the serving size.
  • You can look up exercise videos on YouTube, I use fitness blender and love it!
  • I'm also prone to hypoglycemia. This happened to me in the beginning and I began to binge eat because I was always feeling hungry, but I've managed to figure out something that works for me! What I do is I got on an eating schedule. I eat breakfast around 10 am, then I have a small lunch/snack between 12:30-1:30 and then I…
