Girls-- period question

So this is the first time I've noticed this, since losing weight, I'm on my period, and I feel like I look squishy, chubby, jiggly, etc. I don't work out during the weekends, and I also missed my workout yesterday (Thursday) and am unable to work out today (Friday) and then most likely won't be working out Saturday and Sunday . Is it my period that is making me look chubby, or the fact the I haven't been working out and doing my strength training? And also I haven't gone over my calories.

I would guess it was your period. I don't usually notice any changes, but did this time because of weighing regularly - quite a surprise to see the roller coaster on the scale over about 5 days.1

It has to be your period. Missing one workout and noticing it all today (I understand you will not workout today or the weekend either) does not mean anything in regards to your muscles deflating or anything.. LOL
Blame it all on water retention, and if you are hydrated or not, perhaps changes in the diet (carb intake for example, or sodium intake) since you 'ended' your cycle.2 -
I would say period. When it's my TOM I definitely feel more bloated in general, which could translate to 'jiggle.' It's annoying as hell.4

Thank you guys all so much for the reply! I was feeling super down about myself, but I'm glad it's not just me that feels gross during tom!1

Yes, I have a couple of days when I just feel jiggly and gross. Jello jiggler is a perfect way to put it, @Little_Miss_Kriss . No matter what I wear, I feel gross.1

Yup, jiggle jiggle jiggle everywhere!1

Do a search for period, or ToM.... there are probably a hundred threads with folks asking about "weight gain" before and during a period. It's shocking when you're really in tune, isn't it?
I used to watch my ToM fluctuations with a morbid curiosity. I'd go up 2lbs, then one more, wait a few days then down 4 or so. CRAZY.1 -

I'd guess bloated from your period1

When I have my period, I usually 'gain' around 6lbs (I know this isn't a fat gain so I'm never worried). I do feel bloated and generally 'heavy'. This only lasts for the duration of my period however! Just go with it. You'll feel normal in no time1
