I did one that was set up for a week. I only remember eating cottage cheese, tuna and hot dogs, and I'm sure it was much more about the tiny portion of food then the food choices.

My new meeting was Thurs. One from my Monday MTG was there, two more are planning to come but have medical issues, and 1 from my old Thurs group (pre move). Lots of other folks from I don't know where. It was fine, but time will tell

Does the flax oil work? And how much do you take? I take tetracycline for that, and every time I try to go off it (I really hate taking pills) it's clear pretty quickly that I still have a problem.

Thanks for the connect tip Charlie! I'm always looking for new recipes. I tend to get on a roll with trying new recipes, then settle back into favs (including anything that makes the cut from the experiments). And we eat most of out meals at home, occasionally going out, but it's definitely not a regular thing.

I've never paid attention to macros, but I do eat a diet high in lean protein and veggies and moderate fruit. Maybe I should take a look sometime ๐คท Peeps, ๐คฎ

Increased activity leads to better eating. I think I just don't want to undo the good I'm doing ๐คทโโ๏ธ. So when I'm struggling to eat well, like now, you'd think I'd just make myself move more so the food intake would follow. Yup, I'd think so too ๐คฆโโ๏ธ

Up 2.4. Totally deserved on so many levels. Not great ๐ And lack of sleep definitely decreases my ability to focus. I've tried a more scheduled bed and waking time, a relaxing scented mist and lotion, melatonin, and an OTC sleep aid. The OTC is all that's really worked completely, but I don't like to take them, so I only do when I'm desperate, about 3 times a year.โฆ

After losing 4 online groups when they made the latest virtual change, I joined one if them (not my original group, or the one I joined when we moved) with my local leader. Now the local meeting is permanently closed, and the center I've been driving 30 min has closed, so I get it All. And can't say im loving it! Iโฆ

That was amazing! I love her, and everything she said! Thanks for mentioning it. She's so inspiring. I totally relate to and love "do what you can". When I got moving last summer, I started slow: Walk 250 steps 7 hours a day Lift 3# weights 3 min on the balance board Etc. And I slowly increased, and I saw results. Greatโฆ

I posted in 10# thread, but up 0.4. like I noted in Friday's LTL, it's time to make a list, and then make a choice! And btw, I've already decided my choice is to continue, I just have to figure out "why"!

We have them done (my cousin is a retired CPA but works hard at tax time ๐). That being said, I have nothing to do with them! DH handles it. So relating that to weight loss, I apparently need a personal chef and meal planner ๐

I'm up 0.4#. And I know exactly why. I'm eating too much and the wrong things (chips & cheese, grilled cheese, things I haven't eaten in over a year). Snacking for me is like a ball rolling down a hill. It doesn't start on it's own, but once I nudge it, it's hard to catch up and stop it ๐

Our local GS offered the option of delivering them to local fire, police or ER workers. Having no contact with them made it much easier to not eat. Once they're in my house, they're as good as in my belly too!
