Hi Goad. Bicycle ride this AM. Yay for Saturday!
-
Very impressive. When it was at rock bottom I would have bet the end was near.

I'm ready to concede that *nothing* happens automatically! I've been sedentary and unmotivated to change despite the improved weather over the past two weeks. Getting my bike tuned up tomorrow, so maybe that will incent me to actually ride the darned thing.

I'm gonna cop to having recently purchased a loaf of store-brand light bread. It's a lifesaver when budgeting points, but beyond that there's nothing good about it. I'll have a Smart One meal every now and again. I bought ten of them two weeks ago when I stumbled on to a half price sale, and I've had only one. Generally, I…

WI this morning: down 2.4 this week, 7.9 total loss in two weeks on Freestyle. I did not expect the numbers I saw this morning and instead thought I'd have a 1-1.5 lb loss. What a nice surprise! I feel like I'm very much still in the early part of getting synced up with Freestyle. I haven't yet been to a meeting, and might…

Rainy days and Mondays, yo.

Here. Go Cavs!

I would understand that if you told me people were paying for the meetings but not attending. I don't know. I guess I've paid for memberships and things and then half-assed the execution. I've certainly hung around GoaD while doing pretty poorly at maintenance. Maybe it's the social aspect of the meetings like @cakeman21k…

Today's the day I do it. All of it.

I finally broke down and decided to find out why all the fuss about avocado toast. Lol. This was super simple and delicious. Pointy, though, at 9 SPs.

This surprises me, but, that said, I've never been to a WW meeting. What do people get out of attending the meeting if they're not tracking? Tracking seems so essential to the program. Why are you paying for a program that you're not following? I would think the message would be pretty clear that if you mess up one meal…

Updates: the first week was easy, and - with the exception of the one big splurge I mentioned above - I pretty much breezed through the week on adrenaline and the excitement of doing this big, new thing. The second week has been more difficult, and I probably should have done a better job of anticipating how I would feel.…

good morning!

I try to remember to Make the Better Choice®, with the understanding that it might not be the best choice. Also - with the admission that I'm not always motivated to do so - I've always been able to find ways to mix in activity while on business travel.

Ain't that the truth? I didn't touch the weeklies until Friday, but then blew through the whole batch with one special dinner with wine. I didn't worry about it much as I thought I made decent - though obviously not point friendly - choices.

> The biggest drawback is that it's harder to review the details of your prior history (at least in my experience). I'm seeing that too. I thought I was missing something, but maybe not. I don't even see how to get to a week-at-a-time view within the current week. To the original question: I'm rarely without my smartphone,…

I'm on hiatus, but hoping to be running before too long. Quick update: I was running earlier this year and got up to 25-30 minutes, but my chronic hip/back/butt thing was really not cooperating at all now matter how I babied it. I went back to the doc, and a lumbar MRI showed low back issues, and a recent injection is…
