This challenge started on my birthday actually so I was pretty pleased that I had only gained 1lb over my weekend celebrations + halloween outings. So far so good, I started off this week by reducing my carbs and upping my fats+proteins similarly to a keto styled diet. I find when I switch up my macros like that it helps…

Hello loves, my names Michelle. I've been on MFP since the last week of August now and have lost 25lbs to date. I'm starting to struggle a bit now with body image and self esteem so I thought joining a community would be a good idea! I've been overweight all my life even as a child, so I really don't know what it's like to…

Today I'm a nerd because the only thing I've been watching is x-files and Adams Savage's One Day Builds. His Totoro costume was so intensely cool!

My diary is open but fairly repetitive. But thanks for the posting I hope others don't mind if I add as well

My why is I want to travel the world and be able to appreciate it without the worries of not being able to hike that trail or walk the entire museum without aching. Being overweight gives me a lot of social anxiety and it has affected past life decisions. I'm hoping along with this physical health improvement I will also…

Sometimes I feel like packing up a single bag, buying a plane ticket when I get to the airport and seeing what life feels like without my usual planning.

Spotify is my life line for cardio. I usually listen to a mix of rnb and hip hop for workouts. However, Hans Zimmer (think Dark Knight and Inception soundtracks) makes cardio pretty epic. Sometimes I will watch YouTube videos too. Never do I read and workout, makes me kind of dizzy actually.

Feel free to add me  Love to trade recipes and still an awkward gym bunny so I could use all the workout advice.

www.skinnytaste.com is a great site I think and I've seen a few others on here using it as well. She breaks down all the recipes nutritional facts as well, which is super helpful! Most recipes can be adjusted to fit into any weightloss regime I think. Are there any certain cuisines that you enjoy?

I used to prep vegetables a few days in advance so I could quickly make omelettes in the morning. Deli turkey or chicken can easily be thrown in too with the veggies. Swap egg whites in for whole eggs and the calories will be lower as well. Another one I liked is breakfast burritos made with light flat out wraps.

It is silly easy! I've also used them in some shrimp tacos  it was so yummy

My first attempt at making cilantro lime rice + tofu sofritas today
