  • Well my Vivosmart struggles counting steps more than my vivofit did when I'm pushing the pram. Fortunately with the Vivosmart I can set it to record a walk so I convert the miles covered to steps (shown in the brackets) :) 1st...4483 2nd...3242 3rd...3996 + (5491) = 9487 4th...6651 5th...5643 6th...4212 + (3168) = 7380…

  • Wow so many great ideas here thank you! And some new things for me to try to. Id forgotten things like cottage cheese! Is bombay mix quite healthy then? Its something I love but assumed it was unhealthy lol Cashews are really yummy but I have to watch them as I could nail a whole big bag far too quickly :-o I think a good…
  • I need to walk more count me in! :)
  • Thanks for your replies...the chocolate fits in with my calories I just feel like I'm being naughty lol...olives are a good shout I love olives! Cloverdaisy they're all good suggestions too actually...I haven't had celery for years as I wasn't keen unless it was plastered in a tonne of cheese but my baby has just started…
  • Depends which model you get. My vivofit didn't auto sync, however the later one I believe does. I've just upgraded to the vivosmart hr which does auto sync, love it!
  • I bought a bar and could do a chin up but not a pull up. I did yayog for a few weeks and tried again - I could do a pull up! Kept with bodyweight stuff and now I can do 3 in a row. Huge achievement for this weakling lady who had given birth only 3 months prior
  • Just a suggestion, but I started YAYOG and had NO upper body strength. I bought a pull up bar and could just about do half a chin up and pull ups were impossible... Did YAYOG for a couple of weeks and then tried the bar again, knocked out 3 chin ups and 1 pull up!!! Now a couple of months later I can do 4 chin ups in a row…
  • They're so cheap it's such a worthwhile investment! @dkabambe I was doing so much cardio and seeing such little improvement physically I decided to switch things up and do the strength training and at first I didn't think it was doing much but now I realise it's done loads!
  • Thanks again for all these lovely messages  it's so encouraging reading them all x
  • Awww thanks everyone!! you're all lovely!! And mbaby86 that's an ace NSV!!
  • I just started the app version of yayog this week, just done day 3. Hope i will see results from this as i cant get to a gym :)
  • I bought a bar at the weekend!! Omg had no idea how weak i was :-o looking forward to getting stronger and seeing results from it tho :) Thanks for the plyometrics advice and i may well be bothering you soon for more ideas *thank you*
  • I had a baby 2 months ago and whilst im lucky in that (as mid wife said) my tummy "pinged back" its purely only because i seem to carry my baby weight on my lower half so im desperate to get back to my pre baby weight asap and last time i did cardio which was a slow progression and i didnt look "firm" despite many long…
  • Brill ill Google that too that sounds promising!!
  • Yes i would love to know! Ive found yayog so far :)
  • Thank you both so much for your replies! This is great to know, i know it sounds silly but unlike cardio i dont sweat buckets whilst doing it so psychologically i dont feel like im doing anything haha (altho i am putting 100% effort in, and i feel knackered after as well as feeling it the next day lol!) I want to burn fat…
