Again, I never said you will stop burning calories. That will never be the case, just not as much as when you first started doing the same thing but still burning. Also, you're are probably not trying to lose weight as OP is trying to do. It will be harder for her to lose as she "approach" her weight goal doing the same…

I agree that it will help create a deficit but at a smaller weight it's a lot harder to push pass that plateau doing the same thing. Calories in and out is a simple equation that works well at a higher weight but not so perfectly at a smaller weight. Yes, performing any exercise is better than no exercise. I never disagree…

Yes, this is true for me. If you're running the same speed, distance, and route then over time you're body adjust and the calories you burn is less. I also tested this with a heart rate monitor but you can also feel it (heart rate is lowered, breathing is more natural, etc). I loss 10 lbs relatively easy when I started…

You weightloss is going to be determined by your diet, in particular, eating at a deficit. Exercise can supplement your diet but not vice versa. Please keep in mind though, the smaller you get, the harder you have to push whether increasing distance and/or speed, along with diet. Is this the best method? Well, it all…

I would highly recommended cross training and not limiting yourself to running only. Strength training has done wonders for me. My quads, hammies, and core are so much stronger now and are really the driving forces in my speed improvement. I could only run at best, a 10 min/mile past after 2 years of training from scratch…

Personally, I'm not a fan of skinnys on men. For one, it's more appealing on individuals with slimmer legs, hence why women are very fond of it. In my eyes, it diminish the masculine look of a man. But hey I'm just one gal so if it makes you feel good, go for it!

It depends, are you looking for weightloss or muscle definition? I'm around your height and don't see an obvious difference until a 10 lbs drop around your weight range but as you approach the 120s and below, every 5 lbs is noticeable. Muscle definition or looking toned is a little trickier and varies person to person.…

I was in the same boat as you, same height, slightly less starting weight at 133-135 and was running between 3-5 miles a day 4xs/week (and one gym cardio day a week), eating around 1500 calories. I was able to lose a good 10 lbs doing this routine but at some point it stopped working (stall for 6 months). I weighed my…

I really have to disagree with looking toned just from losing weight or even cardio alone. I've lost weight previously from doing just cardio & diet and did not look toned, maybe slimmer or skinnier but definitely not toned.

It's really an acquired taste but there's no point punishing yourself eating it. I've personally come to like it but not as an everyday thing. I have mine with strawberry, blueberries, sliced almonds, coconut flakes and a drizzle of honey.

Be subtle, work your way in, then go in for the kill! This might take some time (over the course of days or even weeks) but it will save you some face. Start out with a simple, not over the top, not creepy compliment, then ask for a name, say hello from there, slowly increase your frequency of talking to her while paying…

Thank you for composing the above, I agree 100%!. Now I will be doing the same.

Dark chocolate or protein smoothie.

You'll turn heads with this one for sure!

I'm jealous of his legs, wish I could get mines down to that size. :'(

Yes, to the monkey bars. It's been awhile since and I think she could teach me some cool tricks.

No, but you stand out and that's even better! Great choice of outfit and color, all you need now is the walk.

If they are taking the EXTRA measure to be noticed, rest assured they notice you!

No, it's called being honest with yourself. You're cheating yourself those extra pounds.

I'm 5'2" and 115 lbs. Currently, I eat between 1600-1900 calories. I'm sedentary at work but do strength training 4-5xs/wk and 2-3 30 mins of HIITa week. Like most have said, I wasn't seeing progress with calorie restriction in the 1200-1400 range. Also note, the quality of the food helped tremendously at taming cravings…

Just do it! By that I mean train yourself mentally. Start by doing what you can, run 2.5 miles, walk .25 and run the rest or etc. The goal is to do it and know that you can do it. That's how I trained my girlfriends and it worked. The longer you stretch your distance, the shorter a 5K becomes. I use to be scared until I…

Wow! I'm how many months now and can't even get to your first progress picture. What's your routine and diet, if you don't mind me asking?

An absolute good point here! You have no idea what's going through your hubby's head, he's going to start having doubts and you'll never even know. You can strengthen your marriage by putting it first and cutting the ties or create chaos by continuing on this path. Which ever you chose, own it completely. Best of luck to…

I'll be blunt, you're on the path to self destruction here. You can make up as many excuses as you please but deep down you already know this is bad business and to even entertain the thought of meeting him is walking right into the fire. You think just because your husband is aware, it's ok you're being honest and doing…

I second that. I've been fortunate enough to have some really great ones (females and males) who have helped me tremendously and I'm so grateful for them. So far, no inappropriate pictures in my inbox yet (as so many of you have expressed) so I'm feeling blessed. :)
