I need more active friends. I enjoy acerbic humor, absurdity, and being better at inconsequential things than other people.

I, too, am looking for new friends, preferably who are witty and say witty things. I exercise, but I tend to use exercise as an excuse to eat like *kitten*, though I'm not eating like *kitten* currently. Let's be friends.

I will open my diary to you if we become friends. I will not, however, open my heart. I will not tell you how I feel. I will not give you my opinions. Don't ask me for advice. I'm a horrible, petty, small, vindictive, *kitten* person.

I like new friends, but I'm not motivational or inspirational or any of that. You can depend on me to *kitten* all over your accomplishments. You can also feel good about yourself by comparing your achievements to mine. I don't try very hard. Don't say I didn't warn you when I post something *kitten* on your 1,000 day…

Spaghetti. I will wreck some spaghetti.

I love D&D. Wanted to play all my life, didn't get to until 5e. I also love running. Used to collect Marvel X-Men figures, many of which have not only failed to increase in value, but are selling now for less than I paid for them 25 years ago.

Getting in a little late, but I'm probably going to put in 40 miles +/- this month. Also, feel free to add me as a friend as well. Always looking for more people who run so I can look at their runs and think "...if that *kitten* can do that, I can, too." and motivate myself to get up before work and put in the miles.

Pretend I've said something profound. I'll pretend to lend support and motivation. Eventually your decision to add me as a friend on this app will culminate in a life-changing experience where you can look back and say we pretended to know each other. Take the first step.

Serial, if you're late to the party. I just finished season three. It's really good, as is season one. Skip season two.

Tofu sucks unless it is crispy. 100% true. I'm going to try this next time we make it. We also bread it with rice flour and fry the *kitten* out of it to make it crispy. Probably close to the same thing?

Yeah, I just eat what I want. I don't always clock in with a deficit, but this way I keep myself accountable. It's not a mystery why I'm gaining weight or losing it this way.

I'm always up for new friends!

I found that once I lost a good 20lbs my distance improved considerably. My speed didn't improve dramatically, but I can keep up the same pace a lot longer than I used to, basically. My overall speeds on half marathons improved by a minute faster for each pound I lost. For longer distances, losing weight will definitely…

Yeah, I'm almost 40. I'd like to see more people on my feed, so add me. Or don't, it's totally up to you.

I just finished a book called The Power of Habit which contains some startling insights into how habits are made and changed. Sounds like a little might apply to your situation, plus it's a compelling book. Surround yourself with people who will help keep you accountable to your goals, too.

I don't know how to add friends! I'm kind of an idiot! At me as a friend and let's be kind of idiots together!

I need some motivation. I have gotten a little lazy with logging and such lately. Maybe more friends will help.

I command a royal family and their court to fight to the death for my amusement.

If you really want to run, go talk to a good running coach. I'm not a running expert or anything, but I run regularly up to half marathon currently and I still have days like you're describing. If you really don't like running, though, there are plenty of other exercises you can do as everyone points out.

I eat the same thing for breakfast almost everyday. I eat the same thing for lunch, generally, 3-4 days a week. During the week dinner is salad, or fish with vegetables. Usually I'm under after the meals and eat ice cream sandwiches, chips and salsa, or drink a beer. Days when we run or cross-train, I'm well under. Usually…

Just stay strong. There will of course be times where you want to quit, but remind yourself how you felt today and keep going. Like everyone else says, you can do it.
