  • I've just started immune suppressants myself and am starting the long journey or weaning of steroids .5mg at a time. I get frustrated when scales don't move out they move in the wrong direction but I have to keep reminding myself it's better not to gain and I know the weight and moonface will start to go as I wean.
  • I'm breastfeeding an 8 month old and I manually added 500 to my target so it takes me to just over 1800 per day. I found my supply hasn't been effected doing this. Kellymom.com recommends around 1800.

  • Sounds great. Similiar goals to me - wanting to lose 10kg by my son's first birthday at new year. (Still have 15 to go after that next year). Drinking more water and exercising regularly.
  • I'm 30 and had my first baby 7 months ago. Goal is to lose 25kg (I'm also from Australia). Just started this week on MFP.
  • I manually readjusted my daily target by adding the 500 calories. Not sure if it's the right way to do it but that's how I did it.
