What the hey, I'll post. Got more than 40 to lose, but I'll also be a lot happier when I've lost 40, haha! I'll do what I can to help keep you on track. My tracking day is tomorrow, so I'll post here again once I've got a little bit more information. Last weigh-in had me at 254.2.

That's 9 weeks from now, which comes to slightly more than 3lbs a week. It's not undoable, but would require coming to a 1500 daily calorie deficit. I don't recommend it unless you're significantly overweight. Very likely that would put you under 1,000 calories a day, which is not healthy at all. Minimum recommended for…

I'll wear boxers and socks when I weigh myself. Same every time. Socks because it's winter and the bathroom floor can get really cold.

Sure, as long as we clicked well. I mean, I'm 264 myself, so I might not be the target of this question, but I would, no problem. Though I would advise her against losing all of her weight, because then she wouldn't exist anymore, and I would no longer be able to date her.

8/25 SW:270.0 CW:266.0 Week 1 has seen me drop 4 pounds. Results are promising, yet further testing is required.

What I'd suggest is downloading the iHeartRadio app and creating a few stations of artists that you like. It'll give you similar sounding musicians in addition to the one you chose.

Cardio on the off days won't hurt you. Like others have said, DDP Yoga is less intense than a lot of things, so it's not going to kill your body and make you unable to do cardio.

Depends on just how beat I am. If I'm not too bad, I'll hop into the shower. If I just finished a HIIT sprinting session though, I'm taking about 20 minutes in bed in front of my air conditioner first.

I usually use a little bit of low cal liquid Vanilla coffee creamer.

Alas, there's no listing for resistance training. Suppose I'll just have to invest in a heart rate monitor then.

I'm always looking for more friends to motivate and help keep me motivated! Feel free to add me, and let's make the fitness journey together!

My biggest struggle is switching away from the bad for you, but oh so good tasting, foods to have a healthier diet. Couple that with being a rather poor cook, and it makes for a rather slippery slope.

Haha, I wish I could have gotten the whole picture in. Rambo's pointing the camera at a butterfly in the full image.

I'm in! Thursday, August 25th. My fitness journey has begun yesterday and as expected, results are yet inconclusive. I still weigh in at a pleasantly plump 270 lbs. Further testing will be required.

The main thing to remember is calories in vs calories out. 20lbs is a great start, even if you're not at your goal yet! The main two general points that I can hit are to either take fewer calories in, or work more away. Also, drinking more water before eating can help your stomach feel fuller, so you eat less at meals.

Feel free to add me, just getting started again myself! We can help keep each other motivated!

I work in a call center, lol.

I saw my name in this and got excited. I feel a little let down now.

I'm doing pretty well today! Though I'm about the exact opposite of a personal trainer.

I've got a good 90-100 lbs to go myself, feel free to add me!

I took a spill off the wagon, then the wagon went ahead and backed up over me and I ballooned up to 270. I'm on day 2 of my journey, so I could use a good motivational buddy as well. Hopefully counterbalance the poor eating habits of my roommates, which is more or less what pulled me down the first time.
