Thanks for letting me know it's not just me or something I'm doing.

Thanks for the wise words. I told my mother I was going to bring my own meal to Labor Day and she cancelled the Labor Day festivities. Maybe I should have just showed up with the food. :(
-
Wise words. Thank you.

I've done all of this and I've used both tools. I have entered my own recipes (you can't enter instructions when you enter manually) and imported from websites. I have edited ingredients over and over again, only to have incorrect info return once I hit save, if the website doesn't freeze and I have to start over again.…

The measurement options they give don't match the recipes or what's on the ingredients (fluid ounces, cups, tbsp, etc..).That said, sometimes MyFitnessPal is wrong. Sometimes an ingredient will have hundreds of calories added. I have mentioned this to them with no response, or they told me to go to the database to fix the…

I've have been trying for years, only to be met with resistance. I send them healthier recipes and offer to cook. We could all be healthier. It can be hurtful and frustrating that I don't have their support. They still prefer Paula Deen recipes.

I also like P28 Foods The Original High Protein Pancake Dry Mix. It comes in Buttermilk Buckwheat, Chocolate Coconut, White Chocolate, and Strawberries N' Cream. I get it from vitacost.com

I love Zoats. Zoats: You can't taste the zucchini in this. I did use a small zucchini, since I just made it for me. I added more than 1/2 water to the oatmeal, so it wouldn't burn. I added about 1.5 cups, a little less. I also added blueberries and cinnamon. It tastes just like regular oatmeal. My nutritionist puts…

I just emailed MFP customer support to see what the deal is.

Thank you all for the tips and info.

Thank you. Your explanations can sound like your talking down to people or that you are the expert and everyone else has no valid information to offer. It's not easy to tell online. Just some info. :)

If you want to lecture and debate. Please start your own post. I asked a simple question and you have made this about yourself and what you want to say, even being condescending to those who disagree. It's rude. I know you have been here longer than me, but some things just need to be said.
-
Can we please not get into lecturing people? People may want a scale and have questions and different opinions about what they want scales. That's OK. This post was not intended to become a school lesson. I just asked about brands of scales. Plus never assume people don't know things or that one person know everything.

My nutritionist wants a weekly body scale measurement. I also don't want to wasted my money. I asked the questions because I wanted some input. That's all. I understand how scales work and how body weight changes throughout the day. I already knew that.

My nutritionist likes a weekly body weight measurement.

I've done all that. :(

Thanks for the link, but the app develops should just let us add instructions as it is now.

You can also make any recipe healthier with the right ingredient substitutions. For example, I like Xtreme Wellness spinach tortillas. They have only 50 calories. I just wish they didn't have food dyes.

I like the Nutrition Diva's Quick and Dirty Tips podcast.

I have been asking customer service about this. They said to add the instructions in that day's food notes or use the blog. Why not just let us add instructions?! Also, has anyone else had issues with both the importer and manual add multiplying ingredients, no matter how many times you edit and save. I kept wondering why…

You can also search for low calorie recipes at the MyRecipes website. I also like Skinnytaste, along with SkinnyMom, SkinnyKitchen, Cooking Light, and Eating Well.

I get the vitacost brand from the vitacost website. It's cheaper than what is in the natural food stores/store sections around here. Plus the company sends you a 10% code for your next order with each purchase.
