I like to lift and eat carbs.

There's lots of people that compete that also just stop using them a few weeks out from competition.

Bulgarian Split Squat Renegade Row Full contact weighted twist

I do other things without them, farmer's walk, weighted chins, barbell rows, etc Deadlift isn't the only way to train your grip.

If you're not competing why not use straps? Mix-grip can cause imbalances in trap development. Hook grip can get painful and shorter fingers does affect it.

The acids in soda aren't great for your teeth... but they occur in many other drinks, and they make these things called tooth brushes. You should use them several times a day. Edited for grammar.

I saw some expensive "organic, non-GMO, grain fed beef" in our cafeteria this morning... What kind of steer isn't organic, or fed grains? People will believe the dumbest things... Even if someone could prove that diet soda does a fraction of the things people claim it does, I'm sure the effects are still less adverse than…

That's an old body building "technique", it doesn't really matter.

I workout in the morning and the evening depending on my schedule and my kid's schedule. I'd look into joining a 24hr gym. On the days I workout in the morning I have to get up at 445, on the days I don't I usually sleep till 515.

I like starting strength, or New Rules of Lifting, there's a women's version as well. Strong lifts is good. 5/3/1 is a good program too.

For once, my one-armed-hand-standing friend and I agree, 13 miles? Where's my beer?

Too much too soon... Slow it down. You have to crawl before you walk and walk before you run.

You're assuming he's made the claim that BCAA's prevent catabolism while at a calorie deficit, something that I've never seen him do. Linking an article that states that a single study was crappy, has nothing to do with the fact that BCAA's are essential to humans. Most of us get plenty of them from food. You're debating…
