I am having mine removed shortly. But here in Canada we have long waits for our health care. So in the mean time I cant eat anything high in fat.

I went from 3Ls of pepsi a day to cold turkey for about a month now. Any time I crave pop.. I drink a sip of carbinated water that is naturally flavored.. I do that about twice a week. I dont drink anything but water with lemons now. I feel so much better without pop. It was literally taking over my health.

I can't stick to not eating after a specific time frame, due to working so many different hours. So what I have been sticking too is not eating 3-4 hours before bed. I find it does help me from binge eating, because I am a night binge eater.

I eat less than 20grams of net Carbs a day. (Total Carbs -Dietary fiber) it's hard at first but it becomes easy after a day or so. You can have some bad symptoms at first because your body is changing its metabolism, but its worth it.
