  • Today for breakfast: 3 eggs medium (sorry OP) Cheddar cheese 34 grams Mozzarella 26 grams Potato 155 grams EVOO 1 1/2 TBSP Bell Pepper 51 grams Onion 52 grams Philly Cream Cheese 30 grams Thomas Plain Bagel
  • Upon further review: 1. Reduce workouts to allow for body to recover; OP has mentioned this. 2. Increase carbs; OP has mentioned this. 3. Carb reduction is probably the culprit since glycogen and water molecules have a 2:1 ratio of water to glycogen. 4. Upside is you didn't lose 9 pounds of muscle. If you did it would be a…
  • True. To be accurate, I'm not really sure the OP meant incline but probably level. Another option would be a HRM which would assist in calculating cals since the OP is doing steady state cardio. Quite a few calculator examples and someone even went to the trouble of backing out BMR. Mr Knight would be proud.
  • Is homeopathic really- - - -> home and path to refrigerator? Yogurt, pickles, miso, and sauerkraut. Who knew?!?
  • If obesity and smoking are the costliest of health care expenses what is MEDICARE? Employees pay half(1.45%) and the employer the other half. A self employed person pays 2.9 percent of their net income annually for retirees and MEDICARE. IDK, but I think it is the biggest cost to US taxpayers. And Social Security covers a…
  • Simple rule, approximately 100 calories per mile. Weight for an average male/female (can't remember) so there we are. Incline/decline, humidity in air, airspeed velocity of an African laden swallow are also things to take in to consideration.
  • 9 pounds of muscle in 2 months is quite a feat. Any idea what your RHR is, provide your age, if you know your current BF%, and average weightlifting time when you workout. Answers to these questions may be able to help you hone your workouts and provide folks with a better idea of what happened.
  • Wait a second. So it isn't leaky gut, unbalanced gut, too few carbs, too many simple carbs, too little fat, the wrong type of fat, I need a detox or cleanse!?!? You mean I gained weight and the simple answer is eat less?!? NAH!!!! It has to be *sarcasm* something odd/bizarre/woo/etc. Has to BEE!
  • A few observations and quite a bit of rambling. How is my gut unbalanced according to the blogger? Since I ate garbanzo and black beans yesterday I feel fine but maybe I can't feel it yet. The cat in the gif brings a random thought to mind. Why do cats like to knock vases and cups of water off places like kitchen counters?…
  • Who are you Hillary Clinton?!? What's it matter....come on now. You said 'most' which indicates more then the few folks you know who are lactose intolerant. Your claim needs proof. Seriously, just provide one article from a scientific journal supporting your claim.
  • Best slogan......ever. Never up, never in. OP is asking for golf slogans correct?!?
  • Incredibly easy black bean burger. 6 ingredients and they store well in the frig. https://happyherbivore.com/2011/08/easy-black-bean-burger/
  • Exercise tolerance and feeling some lethargy is more a symptom of 1200 calories then something in your diet. Soy and hormone disruption is a new one so I'm not sure if there is science to back this up. You may want to consider A. Mixing the yogurt in a smoothie B. Legumes have ratio of carbs to protein which you my find…
  • Weight gain is from fluid retention. Move more, stretch and roll if you can. Use a tennis ball if no foam roller is handy. Rest and recover.
  • Did you have 2 containers of bread? Is it possible the one piece is the last piece and the bread company knew you'd be logging on MFP? The universe of nutrition is a strange land. Good luck and continue logging.
  • Starting September 4th. 4 pounds this month. And. . . . .go!!
