I have only stayed the same since November 11th. My weight loss challenge at work ends on December 15th and that only gives me 2 more weeks for that. I am hoping to lose 4-6 more lbs by then and hoping for around 8-10 lbs total from now til Christmas. I haven't exercised at all and I am going to start that and swear off…

187.8! Finally made it past the 5 lb mark. Started at 194.4 on September 8th. Off to a slow startup, but things seem to be picking up.

So I started following a ketogenic diet on Saturday and things are going much better. Back in 2008 I lost 80 lbs on the Atkins diet. I guess my body hates carbs. The scale is finally moving in the right direction.

I just joined a weight loss challenge at work and the pot is $1000 for whoever loses the highest percentage by December 15th. I really hope this gives me a really big push!

I got off track the past couple of days. Didn't really sabotage my calorie goals but just didn't make very healthy choices. Today I was really bad and had nachos at a Mexican restaurant. I am getting back on track tomorrow.

So, I ran a 5k yesterday and it was a good race and I made a decent time for my abilities. I weighed myself this morning and I have gained yet another pound! I gained 2.2 lbs since last weigh in despite staying within or very close to my calorie goal.

Hope this isn't tmi, but how much does everyone usually gain from TOM? I'm on day 1 of that and have gained 3-4 lbs. I have been logging everything perfectly!

Tgordon88, with PCOS the best thing to do is to avoid simple carbs. The worst offenders are white foods like white rice, bread, and potatoes. Good luck!

My plan is to stay as close to my calorie goal as possible and try to keep my macros close to the recommended values. I will fill up on healthy flavorful foods to help curb cravings and temptation. I am training for a 5k that I am running on September 24th, so I plan to run 3 times per week for about a half hour each time.…
