I am 193 lbs.5'4 and want to lose 30 pounds by December.I want to do this with friends who have nearly the same parameters.

I am 5"4. I haven't weighed in a while as I'm too scared too, but was in the 180s last time I did!
My goal is always 140lb but I'm really struggling to shift any weight! I would love to be between 140 and 154 by Christmas as I'm going on holiday!!13 -

Hi I'd love to join you guys! I'm currently 190lbs, 5'5" and I'd love to reach my goal weight by christmas which means losing 30lbs. I've already lost 70lbs over a couple of years so I know the drill with needing motivation on slow days!21

I would like to lose 24-30 lbs by December. I am 33 years old, 5'7" and 194 lbs. I just joined MFP yesterday after trying other programs such as WW online. In the past, I lost 80 lbs on my own 8 years ago doing Atkins. I gained 57 lbs during my pregnancy 6 years ago, lost all but 4 lbs and slowly 20 more lbs crept on. I have my goal weight set to 170, but it would be nice to go lower. I would love to join you guys, not quite sure how this works.10

I weigh in every monday but I'll change that up to friday. I try to exercise for an hour at least 5 days a week, love aqua aerobics (don't judge me haha) and after getting a fitbit I've been challenging myself to complete 200 miles of cardio this month - I'm currently on 72 miles4

My plan has been clean eating, keeping my carb percentages around 20-30%. I workout: cardio, circuit, day off. Keeps me from getting overwhelmed with the start of school (I'm a teacher.) MFP has helped keep me on track! I also joined a dietbet game.1 -
I'd like to join too. I'm 160 and would like to get down to 140 as soon as I can while making healthy decisions. I have fat to lose and muscle to (re)gain. I'm planning to follow the Sweat with Kayla workouts 3x week and walk at least 30 minutes a day. Eventually I'd like to get back to running, but I want to ease myself in so I don't injure myself (learning from past mistakes here ). I'm going to eat a high protein diet and limit carbs to the best of my ability. How do groups work? I've never joined one here before.5

I plan to drink lots of water, reduce my carbs, eat more fruit, veggies and protein. I plan to walk daily and to do Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds and some Tae Bo- both on Utube3
