I've done keto a few times in the past with a lot of success. I was calorie counting before Christmas as I do like my carbs but as I ate far too many of them over Christmas/New Year I am doing keto again this week as I feel I eat more healthily on this type of diet as I'm not going for convenience food which is what I…

I didn't log at all from the Friday before Xmas until New Year's Day but was back on it from Monday 2nd. It is tough not being able to eat like I have for the past week or so but I would be back to square one in no time if I did.

I've done lchf a few times with a lot of success but I never counted my calories. However, I am doing the diet this week and am also logging my calories to see how many I am actually consuming. I'm well over my tdee both days so far :(
-
Me too, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Doing lchf this week and no alcohol for the whole of January.
-
I drank at least 2 bottles of wine a week while dieting and managed to get down to 123 lbs just before Christmas (back to 127 now :( )
-
I gained 5.5 lbs in the last 5 days, but then i probably did do an extra 3,500 calories a day

Mine was fairly bad before I started dieting and now I'm more or less at my goal weight it isn't completely gone but I would say it's about 90% better than it was.

I'm gonna eat and drink whatever I want this weekend and New Year weekend (and try to be good in between) and then back to the diet Jan 2nd!

Yes, I eat pizza, chips (fries), crisps (chips), waffles, pasta etc and manage to fit it all in my calorie goal, it's just not huge portions. Also manage two bottles of wine and a family size bar of chocolate at the weekend and have lost 20 lbs since Jun 1st. I cycle for about 30 mins 3 times a week and I walk a mile 5…

I would find foods you like to eat and make them fit into your calorie goal for the day so that way you don't feel like you're depriving yourself of anything. You don't need to exercise, I only do it so I can eat a bit more but I don't do a lot. My main exercise is using a stationary bike - I usually put a half hr/40…

I was just under 61 kilos around mid August and only reached 56.5 kilos about a week ago so it's taken me just over 3 months to lose 4.5 kilos. My average net calories per day was around 1400 at the beginning (which includes over indulging at the week end) and I only exercise a few times a week. Yes it has taken a long…

I always like weighing myself after a long hot bath as I'm usually .5 -1 lb lighter
-
Biggest meal is usually dinner and then I have a snack about 9pm
-
3 spoons of creamer, 1 small spoon of sugar and 2 sweeteners. 130 calories per cup :(
-
I could probably eat a roast dinner every day
-
I did cut out certain things when I did lchf but I could not keep that type of diet going for ever. I now just do smaller portions of the things I like and used to eat and could keep this up indefinitely.
-
I'm almost always over my fat goal.
-
I weigh every morning but I am aware that over the weekend the scales will go up a bit but as long as by the following Friday morning that extra weight (and hopefully a bit more) has come off then I'm happy.
-
I must be odd because I really like the taste of the shakes and have had them even when not dieting. However I have to mix the flavours and have chocolate and banana or chocolate and strawberry together.

I loved full fat coke but managed to change to caffeine free diet coke (gold one) which I didn't like 100% at first but I just love it now. I also get flavoured sparkling water from the supermarket which is nice and refreshing. Diet Dr Pepper isn't bad either.

I always thought it was your thumb and index finger to measure frame size?

I've done both lchf and calorie counted and lost weight with both and, for me, they both have pros and cons. I liked doing lchf because I felt like i could eat a lot and if i wanted to snack late at night there were a lot of no/low carb options that I could eat so I never felt I was denied anything and I also felt I ate…

I lost 23lbs on it last year over 7 weeks. Put 8 back on over the next 10 months but then have since lost 15 from the beginning of June by counting calories. I didn't count any calories while doing the lchf diet.
-
5'6" and 126lbs. Just hoping that last 5lbs will all go from my belly ;)
-
I lost 7lb in the first week of lchf and then it dropped to an average of 2lb per week after that
-
I don't like plain water unless I'm really thirsty so it's always flavoured sparkling water and diet sodas for me
-
I do exactly the same, I have about 1400 cals per day and about an extra 1200 on Fridays through wine/treats and I'm losing just under 1lb a week. Yes my weight loss could be more if I didn't do this but I feel like I can do the low cal days if I can have a day where I don't have to worry too much. I only exercise a couple…

I just counted carbs, 30-40g per day and lost 23lbs in 7 weeks. No idea how many calories I ate but I did eat a lot of cheese.
