I found this book really helpful while I had GD https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0986295000/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1520881801&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=real+food+for+gestational+diabetes&dpPl=1&dpID=517%2BqNysy7L&ref=plSrch Go to breakfasts: Paleo granola with almond milk 2-3 eggs with sliced tomato or…

I answered this question on your other thread. In short, if you enjoy the HIIT videos, there is nothing wrong with continuing to do those. If you want to switch to a body weight strength routine, there are some free ones under the sticky entitled Which Strength Program Should I Use? Here is another program by Nia Shanks…

It takes A LOT of time to see progress in your physique from working out. I see small changes in my body after 8 or more weeks of doing a structured program. I notice strength gains before I noticed aesthetic changes. It took me loosing ten lbs and dropping a pant size for me to notice changes to my body. Weight loss is…

I suspect that your logging may not be accurate. If your eating 3 meals plus snacks and coming in under 1300 calories. I agree with setting your calories to maintenance and letting breastfeeding create your deficit. I'm not too worried about your baby getting what he/she needs. I'm more concerned about you getting what you…

Nice work! Yay! Your going to be swinging 25lb before you know it!

You can use Kettlebells for both strength and cardio. To see your calorie burn, you need to log under cardio and I would log that workout as circuit training. What is stopping you from using a heavier bell? For swings, deadlifts, and goblet squats I reccomend that a woman start with no less than 12lb and that's only if you…

That's great news! Congrats on your weight loss! I had BV when I was pregnant and it is really easily treated with antibiotics. I hope you feel hopeful and encouraged about continuing your weight loss journey!:-)

Planks and crunches can make the abdominal separation worse. If your separation is less than 1 finger, planks are fine.
-
If it was mostly movement practice, I would log it as strength training. If it was something like 30 seconds of work with 30 seconds of rest for several rounds I would log it as circuit training.

Wow! You are a trooper! Where did they make the incision to remove your placenta? I would suggest some glute and hip friendly exercises as well as kegels. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Kd9Dt7J9Ixs https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LhB1Jl52J3Q https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jgh6sGwtTwk https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HrRjumD_o4s I…

How long ago did you have your baby? How old is your back injury? Did you experience 3rd or 4th degree tearing during your delivery? Did you have an episiotomy? Did you have a c-section? Do you have diastasis recti? I ask all these questions because depending on the answers squating with weight may not be the right option…

I used to eat pretty low carb. Around 150 carbs daily or less. I have raised that number to almost 200 and have better energy during my workouts:-)

I would add the 300 calories manually. If your not hungry for them all don't eat them all. Most prenatal care providers these days will tell you if you are gaining too fast. You can expect to gain between 30 and 40 lb for your entire pregnancy. Most of that weight will be gone by the time you go to your post natal check…

Someone posted this a while back: https://cookbooks.leannebrown.com/good-and-cheap.pdf There are some great ideas in here.

I used MFP during the last part of my pregnancy to help control my blood sugar. Make sure you have clearance from your prenatal care provider before you continue with weight loss. Congrats to you both on your pregnancies:-)

I use a pumice stone and ClimbOn balm. Do you want your callouses completely gone or do just not want them to rip and look ugly? The soaking methods will get rid of them completely and I'm not sure you really want that with the activities you enjoy. When mine start to develop dry skin, I rub the dry skin off with a pumice…

I had a really great experience doing Crossfit. It sounds like you have found an affiliate that is right for you. When I look for a Crossfit affiliate here are some of my criteria: -I want to see all ages and ability levels represented in the classes. -Are the coaches correcting form and offering encouragement during the…

I've been to the dietician twice. The first time was put me on the gestational diabetes diet. The second was related to some of my son's food issues. She was really helpful both times. She showed me a lot of resources and advice. She also introduced me to MyFitnessPal. Your visit will likely consist of a healthy eating…

The two most helpful things I have learned on here are to log consistently and weigh and measure your food.

This And I would second the recommendation to see an immunologist regarding these nut and seed reactions. When you have allergies it's important to know how bad they are. My son is allergic to all nuts except walnuts from the shell, peanuts, and seeds. We know that hazelnuts, Brazil nuts, and cashews can kill him.

Have you tried just fasting one meal? When I fast that's what I do. I usually skip breakfast then have lunch and dinner with two snacks. Here is an article from John Piper's website about fasting for beginners. https://www.desiringgod.org/articles/fasting-for-beginners It sounds like you feel some pressure from YWAM to…

I was in a similar situation during my last pregnancy. My glucose test came back high and I chose to do two weeks of blood glucose monitoring instead of the really long glucola screening. Based on my blood sugar readings, I wasn't gestational diabetic but they put me on the diet as a precaution. Does your OB want you on…

I'm going to link an article from ACOG about working out during pregnancy. https://m.acog.org/Patients/FAQs/Exercise-During-Pregnancy?IsMobileSet=true I feel like it will answer a lot of your questions. Here is an interesting article if you are interested in continuing to lift during pregnancy.…
