Thanks abbyweaver1 I sure will pray for you, and yes WE will make it. My husband lost his brother this past weekend due to a heart condition. It has been a very stressful time, but God is good and I know everything will be O.K. Thank you so much for your encouragement. :)

I exercise regularly,try to do my best with portion control, but I have problems when snacking. I choose the wrong kind of snacks. I have healthy snacks that I could eat, but lately I haven't made the best choices when snacking. I need to get a better mind set. I sure could use some encouragement. :)

First of all, congratulations on your graduation. My husband and I have 4 daughters and our youngest daughter graduated last weekend. I will be happy to help you all that I can. We all can use some motivation and encouragement from time to time. :)

I snack on frozen mixed fruit. One cup is only 70 calories. Yum! :)

You are correct. I always tell everyone to take baby steps. A little exercise at a time. You will soon get excited and want to do more. Exercise is good for the mind and body. You are on the right track. Also, when I am eating healthier, I feel much better. I'm sure you will be fine. Good Luck :)

If you are allowed fruit in your diet, I love eating frozen mixed fruit, which consists of pineapples ,strawberries,peaches and mangos. A cup of this delicious fruit is only 70 calories. :)

I have had trouble with sciatic pain in the past. I first went to my doctor for this pain and found that it was sciatic pain. My doctor referred me to a physical therapist. The exercises that were prescribed to me were very helpful. Did your doctor not refer you to a physical therapist?

My cholesterol is is a little high and my cardiologist wants me to eat lean cuts of meat, chicken without the skin and lots of fruits and veggies. Also, he told me one egg a week.

I had an appointment with my cardiologist today, and I had lost 10 pounds. He was very proud of me. : )

I don't know how much weight you want to lose, but I found that when I started making healthier choices, I felt much better physically. I felt like I had more energy. Start eating healthier and you will feel better and I'm sure the weight will start to come off. You will be glad you did. I know you can do this. :)

I love exercising outdoors. I walk or jog in the rain or snow. I have a treadmill , but only use it if the weather is unsafe. :)

Continue to teach your son to be a healthy eater, by being a good example for him. Also, notice his eating habits while at home. He may be going through a phase or possibly following a classmates diet routine. If this continues , I would talk to his regular doctor for some advice.
