Is this going to keep going into October? I want to join!
-
Thanks, Johnell!

Hi Johnell! Well we've all signed up for the challenge...now what?

So Steps App is on your phone? Do you use a fanny pack like I do to keep it engaged while you are walking?
-
2 days this week of 6600+ steps! I "upped" them even more by using my rebounder at night while watching TV
-
I'm in! 184 today. Goal weight 160!
-
So let's just shoot for 20 lbs....probably more realistic!
-
I am.....thanks!
-
Thanks so much for your answers! I have 30 pounds to lose, maybe a little more. I increased my walking to 6500/day, and plan on shooting it to up it to 10K. I am also doing weight lifting 3 days a week

OK, thanks for all your replies.....great feedback! Just as I thought, if you track it, it can't harm, right? Good point, Tinkerbell! Thanks for the helpful links. I stay with tequila, vodka or cabernet, all fairly low carb options.

I have found that the iPhone app (with the red heart) is very accurate, and it populates immediately to MFP!! And yes, you do have to keep it on you at all times, but that's a good thing, for many reasons! That's why the slim fanny pack works well at the gym, because leggings don't have pockets!
-
Thank you for your response! I was on weight watchers, too, but switched back to MFP and low carb because WW encourages fruit, etc. I guess they are good in that you can choose what you put in your mouth! Are you still on WW?
-
I guess those if us with high triglycerides and LDL need to basically eat like a diabetic as sugar and fructose cause levels to go up.
-
Yes I asked him that. The list he gave me lists the grams of sugar in fruits, vegetables, etc., and I'm to use that as a guideline. I really didn't eat fruit anyway, because of my weightlifting days, so no big loss..
-
My Doctor won't let me have over 24 grams of sugar a day. (I'm not a diabetic) The goal is for losing weight and lowering my high triglycerides.
-
I found a flat-type fanny pack, which holds my iPhone 7 perfectly. (nothing else) Perfect for tracking steps at the gym. Orphia, thank you....I found the tracking! That's impressive weight that you lost!! I googled it and 24 kg is 53 pounds! That's REALLY good! Have you been able to keep it off? Were you eating low carb?…
-
I don't like to g in and out....but I want my account to be secure, too!
-
Thanks for the feedback, eveyone. I am still using the iPhone Health app to track my steps and it populates immediately to MFP. I just was hoping it would keep a record of my daily steps....haven't figured out if that's possible

ok, I'm new so thanks for the help
