My protein shake has 50g of protein in it per serving. I LOVE it. I mix it with puréed spinach and fruit in the am for breakfast, very filling. Otherwise I eat a lot of boiled eggs, salmon, chicken, shrimp and hummus to get over 100g usually per day.

I eat a lot of eggs and grilled chicken, shrimp and beef. I also have 50g of protein in my breakfast smoothie. It's a lifesaver and I look forward to it every am!

I have no need to cut the potassium, just wondering if I should because I had read that my potassium level should be five as long as my sodium intake is adequate. I don't mind the taste of the drink at all with both additives so I may as well keep it!

Thank you! I will do the same! I have a few flavours of Mio and plain stevia but use Mio in my Ketoade. I'll have to look out for the flavours that are specially sweetened with just stevia and for Stur.

Just curious to know if you all think liquid sweeteners are as detrimental (to some people I suppose) to weight loss or just diet soda? Are you guys cutting all artificial sweeteners or just diet soda?

Yes! Just tried it this am in my coffee to cut back on the caramel 0 sugar (20 cals, 1 carb) creamer. But for flavour for my Ketoade to cover the salty taste I would need Mio I think.. it is liquid

Ok, I think I have all the encouragement here to cut them!! I was drinking about 3 diet sodas per day. I will switch to Truvia (sparingly) in my tea and only have Mio once daily in my Ketoade. Does that sound like a good plan?!

I've been doing 50g and under for a month now. I'm thinking of dropping to 20g, or maybe 30g.. so @Sunny_Bunny_ that will not help me lose more weight? I'm down to my last 9 lbs and so close to my goal that I'm too excited. It has been a challenge to stay under 50g because I love veggies with hummus and fruit in my protein…

How are your calories 600 from this!? You just be drinking tons! Lol I just bought sugar free caramel macchiato liquid creamer by International Delight and it's 20 cals and 1 carb per tbsp.. which I measure out exactly. I might have 2 per day which is well worth the 40 cals.

You have to temper it in, ie stir it the whole time you're slowly adding or use an immersion blender. My husband has his coffee with 25g of protein in it every morning!

Ok gotcha, I use olive oil typically to fry eggs or shrimp. I'm doing LCHF, just thinking I could use more healthy fat!

My fat intake is typically from eggs, chicken and fish and ranges from 35-80g per day.

I eat a ton of pickles daily, have a lot of diet drinks which are high in sodium and heavily salt my eggs and other foods. Sometimes I get up to 4500mg of sodium per day! I drink a few Diet Coke or diet root beer a day. It doesn't seem to produce cravings for anything sweet and the carbonation keeps me feeling fuller actually. It's working out ok for me and I'm still losing!

I've been buying chicken breast cutlets, instead of whole chicken breast. I weigh them frozen and then cook them, they are usually 4-5oz. Should I be using their frozen weight? That's what I've been counting!
