My first run of the year last night, felt like I was running through treacle although I had eaten so much chocolate before I went. In other news I bought myself some new running shoes can't wait for them to come as my current ones are done and I don't fancy getting injured. Mtd 3.5 Target 40

I am going for 40 miles this month

So December didn't really go to plan. I hope everyone had a good Christmas. I was out running but just not enough, so looking forward to the new year where I am going to try achieve my goals. Miles done 31 Target 40

Not been on for a bit so just checking in. I've found a local running club and went last night for the first time it was just a run at your own pace which I quite enjoyed must have run 3.5 miles. They do speed sessions on a Thursday at a local track so going to head along to see what it's all about. Mtd 6 Goal 40

So finished with 33 miles for the month missing my goal by 7 miles but will be back in December trying again.

Missed my November goal so I'll go for 40 again and see what happens.

I ran another 3 miles this morning it was a great run and great conditions. Hamstring seems better so glad I took my time off. 32 mtd 40 miles goal

Happy thanksgiving to all that celebrate it. I've not been running due to having a tight hamstring although have a run planned for tonight so will see how it goes. May have to adjust my monthly mileage I had wanted 40 miles but currently on 25 after having a week off.

Not been on for a bit so done 5k on 14/11 and 5k this morning. My left hamstring has been tight so had a couple of days rest although was still giving me problems this morning. I don't plan another run till Sunday but will see how it goes. 25/40 miles

5k this morning 31:17 I'm getting closer to my pb (31:06) I hope to beat it by the end of the month. 16/40 @ohhim great race report I enjoyed reading it.

01/11 2 miles 03/11 3 miles This mornings 5k was another years best 31:49. I'm getting close to my pb 31:06.

I'm in again this month I was going to go with 30 miles but after reading through the thread I'm going to challenge myself to 40!!!! If I manage this I'll be very impressed as this month contains my birthday and a trip to Wembley for Scotland v England.

A final 3 miles for the month for me this morning making my total 36 miles 5 over target. I'm well chuffed.

I wanted to run a mile in under 10 mins yesterday, I was feeling good and pace felt good so was gutted when I clocked 10:03. So another mile to take me to 33 miles for the month 2 over target. I plan a run tomorrow to finish off the month hopefully on a high.

3 miles this morning for me so 32 for the month. Target achieved.

3 miles (5k) on Monday morning in a years best 32:06. 2 miles yesterday so 29 for the month. I've got 2 miles to go to target have really enjoyed keep track on here and has kept me motivated. Thanks everyone.

2 miles this morning so 24 for the month hadn't been running due to being busy at work with my gaffer on holiday. I'm confident that I'll make my 31 mile target with 7 miles to go and over a week to run them.

Another 3 miles tonight although I found it tough going, but kept with it, I always usually just give up but I'm enjoying keeping track here and didn't want to let anyone down. (Only myself I know) 19 miles for the month now. 12 to target.
