Yeah, I hate this. I pick up something I fancy, think "oh, the calories in this are not too bad", and then notice it is per tenth of the pack or something daft!! So annoying, and many times not clear on the labels.

Latest update also broke exercise calories. If they fix this, I am never updating again! The last two updates have both broken important stuff!

This is definitely a bug in the latest app release. Several other users reporting the same thing here... http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10478352/ios-7-5-release-notes-discussion

This is using MFP app on iPhone, with an Apple watch. No change in behaviour over these two days. Only difference was that I updated the MFP app from 7.4.1 to 7.5 on Friday morning.

I am exactly the same. Thursday: 19,000 steps gave over 700 cal. Friday: 11,000 steps gave only less than 200 cal??? I updated the iOS app to the latest version on Friday morning, so I am assuming this is what has done this. Getting really fed up with MFP bugs recently!!

Amazing. I am on the same journey - currently obese, heading for overweight!

I am 14 stone needing to get to around 11 stone, and MFP has my daily goal as 1220 cal a day. Lost 11 lbs so far! My diary is open to friends, so happy to friend you.

I just went for a run with my new apple watch (had it 1 week!) I had my phone with me and my watch. MFP showed around 150 calories burned, but the watch showed almost 500! I assume that is because the phone app counts the steps, and the watch counts the steps and the heart rate - so the phone app assumes I was walking…

My scale seems to always show my previous reading the first time I step on it. Weighed myself this morning and it showed me the same weight I was last week! Stepped off and back on and then it showed me todays weight! Step on and off another few times and the weight is the exact same. So my first reading every time is…

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions. My wife is very supportive, but I just meant for example, the other night I was late home. She had cooked mince and dolmio sauce, fed herself and the kids, and there was some left in the pot. So I added up the nutritional info for the mince and sauce from the packets, but I didnt…

I have an MFP daily calorie goal from selecting a desired loss of 2lb / week. Is it just a matter of hitting close to that goal each day? It seems fairly easy to count calories from packets - breakfast cereals, sweets, mcdonalds even lists their calories! Not sure how to do it for a proper home cooked meal, though?

Hello I would like to be your diet buddy! I have just started after a health scare, and need to lose the same as you, 4-5 stone. I have zero idea about dieting and nutrition, so feeling quite nervous about doing all this, and a buddy would be nice!
