20% carbs. 40% protein. 40% fat. My doctor has me on 1000 cals, on weekends and every now and then I go over on my carbs to carb cycle. I started off at 1500 with the same percentages. Then gradually went down to this. I’m not doing gastric surgery. Just using overeaters anonymous and my dietician and my doctor and therapy

I’m okay with eating like this for the rest of my life. But since I’m only doing 1200 now, at some point I’ll have to increase calories and maybe reintroduce certain foods. But that’s up to my nutritionist

Yeah. I think my stomach shrunk because it’s hard to eat more than that sometimes

1200 cals a day. I eat a lot of fish and green veggies. Broccoli is like an every day thing. Same with spring mix and kale. No fried food. No bread. No pasta. No potatoes. Rarely a carrot. But that’s what my nutritionist and my doctor suggested. Don’t do what I’m doing without consulting your doctor

I’m not doing any weight lifting right now. I dont see how people can think I’m losing too fast when I’m 428lbs.

I'll be happy with 3lbs a week. I'll be at the weight for my height in a year and a half. Also I'm 5'7. And like I said above, I'm currently studying for the bar. After I take the bar in February I'll work out regularly until I get a job (or have to study for the bar again YIKES)

But I'm going to overeaters anonymous meetings. I'm not going to mess this up. My goal is to lose the weight by the time i'm 30. I'm 27 now. I'm seeing a therapist now. I'm doing all the right things. I just want to lose the weight and be healthy and I want it sooner than later. I know I can do it. I'm not like everyone…

don't let one bad day ruin your progress thus far. it doesn't matter if you lose weight this week. it does matter that you get back on track tomorrow. don't try to restrict your calories by 500 for both days.

I went to the doctor about 2 months ago and I don't have diabetes or heart disease or high blood pressure now. I just want to be as healthy as I can be. Thanks

I already have. they don't provide any nutritionists or dieticians for my plan. once I pass the bar and get a job somewhere i'll be put on a group plan which does cover more stuff. right now--i'm out of luck

yeah, i lost 28lbs and i just feel like "wow, i shouldn't have even gotten to the point where i have to lose all this weight." if you're depressed though try going to therapy. it helps
