I think 1200 for most people (unless they are midgets) is way way too low. I'm pushing 6' and I am an endurance athlete...I have been following the sites 1200 cal recommendation and it has me losing 5lb a week lol.. time to eat more XD

I've maintained within 10lbs of a certain weight my entire life... I am just not at the lower end right now... so that's not really relevant. It's different. I don't overeat.. I just wasn't exercising as much as I have for 99% of my life for the past few months..

Instead of doing one big event...I run 10+ miles several times a week... I find it much more rewarding to run 80mi/week than to just go all out once at 30mi and die...

A LOT. No matter what I weigh I'm always a size 2. I could never be a 0, not with my hips. And while now that I'm "heavier" I still am not quite filled out enough to be a 4. Then again my weight range is only 10-15 lbs which I'm trying to get to the opposite end of XD

I'm trying to lose 15-20 by then too!! I have to wait a week to see how much I need to lose though since my actual weight is masked by lots of water... When i figure out how much I really weigh I would love to join you! It might only be 10-15... have to wait and see... just dropped 5 lbs in water at the gym in one go...…

Wildly inaccurate for me... It says I won't even lose 5 lbs until november...and I'm more or less on a track to lose 3lbs per week... It doesn't realize for the 1200 calorie suggestion that some people just naturally burn way more calories than others...I'm taller than 95% of women at 5'9" and so I burn more. I also have…

I run for 60-90 minutes.... at 8mph (i'm a runner and i do marathons so to me it is a normal workout)

I clicked on this because it interested me... I am no expert but I do know walking doesn't burn that many calories...5 miles of walking is much closer to 200-300 calories. I walk and run and I burn exponentially more calories running.. on my long days (10 miles @ 7min/mile pace) I burn around 1000 calories...I doubt she is…
