After reading everyone's input I feel a lot more confident moving forward. I am going to follow the advice given and tighten up on my logging and give myself some more time to adjust to my new routine. I guess it just gets scary when I am not seeing the results I expected, but it seems to be what this is. It's a waiting…

Thank you everyone! To answer a few more questions I saw on here. I have been calorie counting once again since the beginning of March. I started exercising about a week in to calorie counting.

In 2015, the only exercise I was doing was running on a treadmill. This time around I purposely began incorporating weight machines. I have been slowly increasing my weights on the machines and have seen an increase in strength this time around. I alternate which muscle groups I work on the give my body a chance to rest.…

Thank you for your input! Is 25 lbs considered little to lose? Not trying to argue, but this seems like a lot still to me. Jowever, that might just be because it's my body! In the bigger picture, it might be small.

I looked at my weekly deficit for the past month and a half and I have been under, although sometimes not by a lot. I go to the gym 5 days a week, and do roughly 30 minutes of cardio and 45 minutes of weight mschines. I track my calorie expenditure using fitbit. When I started the gym I was concerned about severely under…

Yeah I have a fitbit HR. Maybe I will try only eating back 50% of what they give me.

Personally I think that is a conversation that too people in a relationship should be able to have. Me and my boyfriend discuss this kind of thing all the time, however we may not be the best role models. Neither of us is particularly eloquent and neither of us generally gets offended over anything. So if he notices that…

Okay! I was worried about logging too many calories, but I guess that's better than not logging then at all or not enough. Thanks!

This is awesome! On my old MPG account that I sadly lost access to I participated in the Hogwarts school challenge and loved it! I hope I am accepted and I am very excited about this!

You can look at mine if you want, but I'm not sure how helpful it will be. I haven't really changed what I eat (processed foods, fast food etc) I just eat in moderation now.

Hey everyone! When I made this thread I didn't expect to get so many awesome responses. Since starting this thread I showed it to my boyfriend and he is still confused why him doing that for me is so huge to me. So clueless, so adorable :D Also, please keep posting your stories here! I love hearing them and it is so…

Thank you! It's things like that, that really make me appreciate him. Especially since I've been in relationships that were on the other aide of the spectrum.

If it is thats alright. The reason i posted this here was because I see so many threads with people worrying that they have ruined everything by having a bad day or week. I had a bad year and was able to get it back under control. I'm just hoping my story can put others at ease.

A little late to the party hear, but since this is directed at my boyfriend...Ahem I have known him since high school. School is just not his forte, so going back would be a literal waste of money. Also, I currently have my bachelor's in computer programming and am working on my masters in criminology. Guess what? I…

We are going to as this was a concern for both of us. Me because of what you said and him because he doesn't want to be "fat" again. He is taking to weighing himself every morning. We have also agreed on a goal range that based on his history we believe would be healthy for him. This way if he does gain a bit even though…

He can't really snack while he's working, but he gets two 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch. I can start sending some of these things with him for those times when he can eat. Also, nuts sound perfect to have for his 15 min breaks.

Thank you! I will have to try all of those. Luckily he's not a picky eater so it shouldn't be too hard. I think the hardest part will be getting his appetite up, so high calorie food options are exactly what I need right now.
