Wow. You are such an inspiration and I'm sure many people do and will feel that way. Depression alone is a killer in less obvious ways. You have managed to kick multiple things and find yourself for the first time (I still haven't kicked the smoking). You are AMAZING  and you deserve love and you deserve happiness…

Awesome job! We have similar goals, I sent you a friend request if you're ok with that. You look amazing and glowing, hard work is paying off. And the small goals are smart..breaking it down makes it seem less daunting. wtg!

Well I have an "almost" NSV. I bought a pair of size 16 shorts so that I had something to work towards and I was able to get them up over my butt and buttoned, although I could barely breathe and my stomach felt like it was dying a slow and agonizing death... But that's not the point. Another 15 lbs or so and I will be in…

Sorry I don't have a good answer for you. At times I'll drink slimfast with 20g of protein, but that has oil in it, so that wouldn't be what you want. I'm not an expert on nutrition or products, but perhaps you could try a few different kinds and see what you like. I had to go through a few "yucks" before I settled on…

I'm thinking I should adjust my activity level. And I know there are many threads about this. I'm not sure what to adjust it to, based on what MFP says. I have a desk job but I USUALLY get up anywhere from every 5-15 minutes and hand out papers I printed to my coworkers and to file. Office isn't very big. At home I don't…

My period has never been on time ever since I was a teenager, so I have no idea. Plus I have the IUD and it's irregular like nobodys business :(
-
lol Probably. I have never had one before. I know the longer you wear it will provide better insight/estimates/accuracy (whatever word one uses), but normally I only ever have my Polar FT4 for exercise only so this is new to me. I'm a little slow sometimes in my thinking  Anyway, I am going to bump up my calories…

It's okay! I appreciate your insight. I am wearing a fitness tracker today so I'm going to see if the rough estimate of calories burn for the day is close to what I think it is. Either way, I usually have snacks with me at all times and up until last week it worked. I'd get hungry occasionally but not out of the ordinary…

I'm sorry for the confusion, my husband is the man in the picture, I'm the woman. :) I should have made that clear. I'm 32 year old woman, diabetic type 2 5'7 264 lbs at last weigh in over a week ago. Scale has gone up im assuming water/bloat as I doubt the strength training I've done over the last month has built any…

Just posting again. I'm type 2 diabetic. 264. I don't care who you are or how much you weigh, but if you have similar goals or need someone to talk to and can be supportive and want support in return, add me

Well I have two. 1. I was so out of shape before that I could barely jog/run for one minute. yesterday I got to 2 mins and 20 seconds and the only reason I stopped is because of my shins/calves! I'm so excited! Also, my heart rate goes down faster, so thats exciting!

Wow, way to go! Keep it up, be proud of yourself for sobriety and weight loss, the first especially!

Awesome job!

I wish I could help you but I am in the same boat. however, I have not been eating the best (although still staying under maintenance except for 1 day). I lost 6 lbs and now the scale says I've gained 3 lbs. No way I could have gained 3 lbs of muscle in two weeks, so I need to be more strict. Hopefully someone can help you…

Wow, GREAT job! you must be so so proud of yourself! You've come this far, those 50 lbs will be gone before you know it. Keep it up

Wow wow you look awesome! Be so so proud of yourself (I'm sure you are)! Keep us updated. And my husband works for the same place so that made me chuckle:)
