Thanks for the warm welcome! 😊 @martaindale, that sounds lovely! Do you have a lot of nature where you’re from? I haven’t been posting my stats lately, but I have been keeping up with my workouts! I’m really enjoying getting back into running so much that I actually went and bought myself a pair of Brooks Glycerin! Love…

Hi all 👋 I’m new here. I used to run 5k twice a week about ten years ago, but life and family happened and I never truly got back into it. I would pick it up for a bit, did a few races, but never stayed consistent. Well, I want to start again! I don’t have a goal in mind, I just want to track what I’m doing and go from…

Hi, I’m Arianna! Growing up, I was always very active. From running around playing tag or soccer with my friends, to gymnastics, and eventually running 5k twice a week in high school and weight lifting 3x a week. However, life got in the way and I had little time left to dedicate to running/weight lifting or any sports,…

My true reason for wanting to lose weight isn't just a single reason, but multiple reasons. * My clothes are not fitting the same as they used to. They are tight, too small, uncomfortable, and unflattering. * I have noticed increased difficulty doing daily things. My extra weight is getting in the way of me bending over…

Sorry to hear about you Mom's passing, I know life can be tough sometimes. I am restarting as well... just over 30 pounds I gained in a year and a half. I only had 5 pounds left to reach my goal when I got side-tracked with other demands on my time. Here's to restarting  *high five*

I am a single mom with a full-time job, and I'm in school part time. I have always been a healthy, active person, but having a child really put the breaks on my weight loss journey (as I had no help). I volunteered at Goodlife in the daycare for 2.5 years, which gave me a free membership and I made friends with some…

I have a fitness insta I use to keep me motivated and inspired. I like to follow real people. I've recently been out of the game for a year and a half due to other demands on my time, but I have reached a breaking point and I need to get back into it.

I gained weight once I became vegetarian. I turned to carbs to replace the protein I used to eat... bad for my waistline. Lol. Counting my macros helped me realize how out of control my carbs were, and how little protein I was getting!!

For today, I know I'm going to be doing lots of walking, so my only goals are: 1. Drinking 2L of water 2. Logging at much food as I can

I just found this group, and I really like the JFT concept! JFT: 1. Drink 2L of water 2. Resist one temptation to eat junk food 3. Log as much food as I can 4. Do at least five minutes of exercise By the end of the week, I would like to be down one pound.

I'm not vegan, but I do have vegan friends. I am vegetarian, however. I'm new at this and I'm counting macros wondering how I'll ever meet my recommended intake of protein  I never thought I would ever say that.... HA HA. not that I don't think it's feasible, it's just something new I will have to adjust to.…
