I LOVE chatting.
Here's an ice breaker O.P.
The following may be considered topics of chat for this thread.
1) Tell us how old you were when high technology consisted of answering machines that used cassettes, clunky beepers clipped to the belt and cable TV. Or if you weren't born then, tell us how technologically simplistic it was while you were still in elementary school and whether or not you wished it had stayed that way.
2) Tell us why topics such as politics and religion are discouraged on most non-specialized message boards but the topic of sex keeps coming up again and again and it never seems to get old. Was it always that way or has it polarized more dramatically in the last 15 years or so? Is sex the new religion and why has it become so politicized?
3) Do you believe in junk food or health food? Is it backwards to refer to any food as junk food and/or health food? Is it a boring thing to talk about?
4) Do you like girls to wear makeup or do you prefer them without?
5) Don't you think wearing spandex Euro panties (for men) and skimpy bikinis (for women) on the beach is the same as nudity? What difference would it make to just appear on beaches in the birthday suit rather than parading around with a tight, uncomfortable piece of lycra binding certain areas of the body, while showing off the other 95% of it?
1. I can remember as far back to when i was in grade school, my family has always had an answering machine. No cordless phone, only landline until laterm on. I can remember when we first purchasedour first computer, IBM. AOL was all we had at the time, dail up. I can remember bag phones, beepers, cassette players. And I've also seen these items become almost nonexsistant.
2. The majority of people consider politics and religion to be a personal question. I feel sex should be in that same category. I think the topic of sex has always been around.Sex the new religion? Nah, I don't think so. I just think people want to be and feel wanted and desired. And I'm sure society's expectations don't help since almost everything that's advertised uses the "sex sells" tactic. But that is just my opinion I'm sure others may have a different one.
3. Regardless if food is labeled junk or health there is still food that is good and bad. I believe junk food can be addicting and that some of the ingredients in junk food can contribute to cravings. Sometimes I find food topics boring but others I'm glued. I guess it depends on what mood I'm in.
4. Either way, it doesn't matter what I think, it should only matter to the person chosing to wear makeup. Sometimes makeup can add to self esteem and confidence boosting. Although, there can be too much makeup on a person. Someone shouldn't cake so much makeup on that if you were to touch their cheek they would poof.
5. I do not. I think it's very revealing but wouldn't label it as nude. What I don't get is that it is acceptable to wear these articles of clothing, or less, but God forbid if someone walks around in a bra and panties. Quite frankly, I think it's the same damn thing. Bra and panties may actually cover more than bathing suits. Lol2 -
Very interesting topics. Thanks for sharing.0
