I'll be weighing in on Friday, but I know my struggle for this week - stupid stomach bug. Probably won't do much to my calorie intake, but exercise is out of the question for the next couple of days. ugh

Be careful of "light" , "diet" and "sugar-free" foods. Almost all of them contain some form of aspartame, which isn't so healthy. I'm not going to pretend to know just how dangerous it really is (trying to research it can be confusing when you see the different "professional" opinions out there). But I can tell you from…

I enjoy my vacations and don't worry about tracking. That being said, because the goal is to make a lifestyle change NOT go on a diet, I tend to naturally make better choices anyway. Usually the choice entails eating less as opposed to refusing delicious foods. Either way, once vacation is over, go back to your normal…

Any time I have a day that I went over my calorie goal (like, waaay over, not just 100 or so), I put it behind me and move on. If I'm feeling especially bad about it, I'll do a little more exercise over the next couple of days. Literally, a LITTLE more. Just as others are saying, One day of overeating is not going to make…
Haha, I find myself arguing with myself now too. My tastebuds are bullies. I like the idea of tracking your meals at the beginning of the day. It will give me a visual representation of what I eat. Thanks for the tip.
You're welcome! I always aim high when I plan....there's something satisfying about…

Fitting back into my clothes. I'm just about there! Let's see how it goes when we switch the winter and summer clothes on Sunday...
-
When my clothes started fitting better. Just this past week, 3 different people commented on how thin I look in 3 different outfits. And my husband grabbed my butt and thighs and said that they were smaller. This was all after losing about 7 lbs in 2 months, but also a lot of exercising.

If it's a planned work function, lunch, etc I'll plan ahead for it and enjoy myself. Otherwise, I bring my own food to work and put it in MFP in advance. Usually, the food just appears on the kitchen table. Most days I will just ignore it. Sometimes, I literally talk to myself (almost like an internal argument) "I want…

Dinners: Friday nights is usually pizza night or something similar. Other than that, we'll out eat every now and then (maybe a couple times a month). Lunch: About 2-3 times a month I'll go out to lunch with my co-workers. Breakfast: Maybe once a month, if that. Vacations are a free for all!!!

So true! Don't get discouraged! Healthy weight loss takes patience.

No more detail, PLEASE!!!

Breakfast: vanilla greek yogurt with bananas and crumbled nature valley oats and honey bar.

I haven't tried it with chicken salad yet, but I love to put in pepperonchinis when I make tuna. It gives it a teeny bit of heat, and using some of the juice allows me to use less mayo.

I'm a second day sore person, too.

When you lose 5 lbs in one month and 0 lbs the next...it's so easy to feel discouraged, but dammit...you lost 5 whole pounds last month!!!

I used to get all hyped up about exercising again after I hadn't done it for awhile. I'd go in all balls to the wall and be too exhausted and sore to want to do it anymore. Now I start slow and steady and work up to the more difficult classes and exercises. It takes patience, but it's worth it.

Along with the eat less exercise more, people hate to hear that I tell myself I'm GOING to do something and then I do it. Someone tells me, " I have no willpower" I say, "You have no willpower because you tell yourself you have no willpower." There goes the eye glaze...
