  • Oh have about 10 packs stocked in my desk at work on a constant cycle! A co-worked and I chew a lot to stop us from snacking at our desk jobs. We simply stick to sugarless
  • Oh I also agree with @Colormeginger. I think its the Tile background that is a week later. I see it in your posture and in your natural waist line.
  • I take photos once a week as well as measure and weigh in. I find there have been differences EVERY week for me in the past 4 weeks since I started that part of the process. I think its good to see those little changes throughout your body as you go. My photos however are in nothing but underwear and for me only. So with…
  • If you feel its too high it will give you the option of 2lbs a week. But I don't think that's unreasonable. Try it. Give it a few weeks and see what happens. If you feel you want to adjust down, then do that. You have to know your own body and what it needs for calories. I am slowly adjusting up, as I felt like I was…
  • Hey, feel free to add me.. I have been there!!!!
  • Thank you!! I wouldn't have realized the difference and probably did exactly as you said!
  • I used regular, only filled them about 1/4 full and then raised to about 3/4 full while baking.
  • The brownies turned out great!! I added extra baking powder to the ingredients I used so that they came out lighter and I also put them in muffin tins so that they were pre-portioned. Recipe: I cup flour 1/4 cup greek yogurt (0% fat) 3/4 water 3/4 cup white sugar (recipe said you can substitute for sweetener... I don't…
  • Thank you guys soooo much!!! I am looking forward to experimenting with them this week :) I put some to soak this morning, so should be ready for me tonight to cook with!!! And I love the variety or simple ideas to more complex... definitely perfect for the cook inside this fat girl lmao!!!
  • Will do!! I am hoping they turn out well and a reasonable calorie count per serving!
  • I am actually going to be trying the brownie recipe that substitutes the oil/butter with greek yogurt and uses just egg whites. I can update after my attempt tonight if you would like. You can also make chocolate meringue kisses. Those are very little calories per and since they are so sweet, I find I only need one or 2.
  • Oh I love anything curry!!! I think I have almost all those spices in my cupboard already!
  • Mmmm... garlic sausage.... Never thought of that....
  • Hmmm cocoa powder? How did that effect the taste? Really like the look of the recipe and the eggplant!!!
  • *gagging* Terrible... just terrible....
  • Smoky and the Bandit Lord of the Rings Monty Python and the Holy Grail
  • I totally wear men's shorts! Lol! They hit my knees and are baggy cause I can tighten the string up nice and tight as I have a smaller waist in comparision to my hips/bum/thighs
  • I don't use their frozen meals often, I do use Healthy Choice Steamers on occasion (keep them in the freezer for a rushed week). But I do use the WW bakery products. My favorite are their "flat bread" buns. For me these are great to keep my calories down and still enjoy a burger or piled high sandwich!! I say, if its…
  • I had this same experience. My calories they were allowing me, plus the workout, was too little to function. I multi logged everything for a week and gave up after I realized how little I was eating.
  • I live in a very remote area where there is only one place to meet within 70kms. So unfortunately that was never an option for me. I used weight waters 5yrs ago. And although I successfully lost weight, it was expensive and never taught me how to really watch what I was eating. I relied heavily on their foods because they…
  • This is what I do too. I don't deprive myself of anything. If I have a craving, I make it work in my calories for the day. Also... a lot of recipes can be made healthier and lower cal. If you crave certain dishes, maybe look at how to MAKE them better for you!!
  • It's hard when the weight doesn't drop off. But remember you want to do this in a healthy way that you can keep up and be successful in maintenance as well. If your weight comes off too fast you will suffer because you will lose more muscle also. Remember this is a marathon. You can do this!
  • I can relate. I have a girl at work who has been trying to lose weight for 6months. She talks openly about it and lecturing everyone about doing the 21 day fix and that's what would help her lose weight for Mexico... she did a 7 day fad diet, gained it all back in Mexico and now complains that she just can't lose weight no…
  • Peanut butter!!! Wish that was lower. Even the light is high.... but it is what it is :(
  • Agreed that it's about a calorie deficit. And yes it's hard to make it work with kids. I have three young children and a single mom. Cooking what kids will eat well and knowing what you should eat is a struggle sometimes. There are nights I cook two suppers... One they will enjoy that is still healthy and one for me…
  • I agree to not go back to the gym yet. However that's for others benefit not yours. I'm currently sick with a cold which has moved into my chest a bit and I haven't missed a day of exercise yet (I workout at home). I find it helps open up my airways and give me that boost of energy that being sick drains from me.
  • Dancing! Zumba videos and Country Heat! My kids love to do those with me. I actually bought 3 sets of 1lbs weights also so they can try and strength train with me. It's better they wanna join than crawl all over you and not let you!
  • Most of my suggestions have been said... I would say hummus mostly cause what to dip in it is just a way to deliver it to your mouth... So use your finger and enjoy :) I hope you get better soon and the dentist can sort it out!
  • Agreed that they taste decent. But there are more affordable options. I rely heavily on shakes and bars due to my schedule. I have found many that offer between 25-30g of protein and only 1g or less of fat.
  • I understand this. I am a stress eater. I can avoid cravings when I am upset, I can avoid during TOM, but when I am stressed I cave. Stress is one of the reasons I allowed myself to fall off the fit wagon and put weight back on. You can get back on track and do this! I have found cardio is how I deal with stress the best.…
