Awesome work on losing 6 pounds! When is the 5k?

Congrats on week 2 success. It's important to have you time. If you get too stressed you won't be the best possible you, Mom, or wife you can be. Trust me, your husband and daughter will be grateful for it.

Just reading this is so inspiring. I know too many people who are younger that give up and say they are the way they are because of their age and nothing can be done about it. That you want to improve your health at 74 is fantastic. Exercise is not needed for weight loss. Losing weight is math: Calories out > Calories in =…

Hold on to those out of style clothes. They'll be in style again someday. Fashion seems to repeat itself every now and again.
-
Sounds smart, not dumb. I have a closet full of clothes that I'm determined to wear again just because I like the way they look on me. But in doing so, my health will improve, as yours will. It's a win/win.

Hi, I'm right with you. I keep gaining/losing the same 5 pounds and get move passed that. I can't offer any advice but just wanted to wish you good luck. You sound determined enough to push through this time.

Good morning, afternoon, or evening. Bad news from the dentist today. After years of asthma inhaler use, my upper front teeth are rotten and have to be pulled. The good news is I will be under anesthesia for this so I'll get a good nap :) In other news, there is a group sponsoring a blood moon hike this coming Sunday…

So jealous. Looks like a great day.

I won’t buy into middle age. Too many people are now living good lives well into their 100s. Nobody knows the exact amount of life they have so what’s middle age? Keep the body and mind active. Consider us your family for support. remember 3 pounds is still a loss. It may be slow but it’s all about becoming healthier…

Or Drakkar Noir.

Just keep making progress. Even if it's slow, it's going in the right direction.

Hey there. Congrats on the 33lbs down! That's a great success.

Welcome Sabretooth. Glad to have you with us. Good luck crushing your goals. We're here to support you all the way. By the way, I hear Logan has been looking for you :)

I remember when I had to walk to school uphill in the snow with no shoes. Wait. I sound like my parents. 😆

Sunny in England? Not possible😁 Have a great day Anna.

Congrats on the winning. Creepy old men belong on park benches feeding pigeons. Hopefully he’ll leave you alone before anything has to be said to him.

Happy Monday. If that’s a thing. Heading to the doctor’s office. Came back down with bronchitis again. Thankfully I think I’m catching it earlier than last time so I should have a quicker recovery. To brighten everyone’s day, here is a pic of my pup taken on a river walk yesterday. He thinks he’s bigger than he really is…

Howdy do, seasoned citizens :) The weekend arriveth. Any one have awesome plans? After last Friday in NYC, New Year festivities, and feeling sick for the last few days, I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend of housework, guitar practice, and shoe polishing. I'll be seeing my barber to square off my flattop and maybe a…

2 channels on my satellite radio I listen to the most. Hairnation and 80s on 8. Even got my kids rocking out to some Journey and Bon Jovi.

She’s catching up to Abe Vigoda 😆

Spent the day with my wife and younger daughter taking our dog for a 2.5 mile walk around a beautiful lake. Great weather for a walk. Wish my oldest wasn’t working. I missed her being with the family.

Hey Brad, Good work on the 11.8 loss. Seems like you've got a good handle on what do to. Good luck!

Welcome back to MFP. I, too, suffer from senseless snacking (late night especially). That's been the hardest habit to break so far. Figure out your Why. Why do you want to lose weight and get healthier. If you have a strong enough Why, the self discipline will follow. Good luck!

The only thing on my mind right now is a major headache. But when that passes, I'll be thinking about getting ready for my first hike of 2019.

I have the same goal for 2019 that I have for every day of the year. Continue being the same old lovable A-hole I've always been.

NYE is my mother’s birthday and we always go out to celebrate. Tonight will be no different. Except this year I’m particularly grateful to do so. She’s in her 70s and had battled cancer of the throat a couple years ago. It left her being unable to swallow so she lost a lot of weight. This year, that got resolved so her…
