Thanks for the welcome! @angelacatheart I didn't even think about a lower calorie option. I just thought I need to write it off for a while. Thinking of other alternatives such as some homemade energy bites, dark chocolate, etc. @mom23mangos that sounds yummy and I think I can get it at target. Thanks!

I feel you! I stop running every winter and start again around this time of year. I would mostly do 5ks but did my first 10k last September. When I first start though it feels like I'm running through mud. I, too think you should go to the running store as well.
